Well, compared to some of the countries 'represented' in Freaky Flyers, Mexico got off pretty easy. At least their country is represented by a hot chick who usually gets the best of other characters, even if she is a criminal (and the other Mexicans are rather caricatured). Compare that to how, for example, Romania, Jamaica, or Japan are represented.
It makes me sad that the cutscenes look like they came out of Foodfight; Jak and Daxter didn't look this bad. Also similar to Foodfight is the negative portrayal of several countries... Mexico got off easy, thankfully. Seriously, who owns the rights to this game now? Whoever owns it now, this game needs a serious overhaul. It could be more like Punch-Out for the Wii; characters who, despite the stereotypes, are likeable. Desert Rose is a good start, so, if anyone picks this IP back up, they should focus on revamping the other characters. Hey, maybe they can have each character speaking in their native tongue, too, eh? Also like Punch-Out Wii?
@@goofyjared2007 Looking back, this does look more like the missing version of Foodfight, but with rougher textures. Either way, everything else I said up there, I'm still sure of.
