This is a cover of "Take Me Away" as performed by Christina Vidal in the movie Freaky Friday. My friends and I were having an awesome jam session that day and one of us just started playing the main riff of the song and we all decided that it'd be entertaining to actually learn the song and play it. So we listened to it a few times and this is what we came up with!

We were actually in a room above my friend's garage. That's where all the music equipment is kept. There's also a pool table/ping pong table and a tv and video games! Pretty sweet hangout spot!

I honestly can't remember which amps we were using. I know my friend had a vintage Marshall half stack and a Crate Blue Voodoo (BV-120H) half stack. I was probably playing through the Blue Voodoo. However, these days I have a Peavey 5150 head running through a Crate 4x12 cab loaded with Vintage Celestion 30s

@@coltonrudd Hey:) What's you name? So our band is working atm to get the original video clips back on you tube, Take me Away and Beauty Queen by Lash our all girl band. Since we were no longer signed to a record label, there was some transition issues with these videos, we also own our publishing again. It's a little frustrating to us that America seems to only know our Track as the cover version! A little back story about us; we started playing as a garage band back in 1996 we were only 14 years old, 3 of us went to school together and played in the music room, I went to a different school and played as the school drummer and then joined the band as i knew one of their sisters. I later became the other singer and rhythm guitarist when the record company signed us, I learnt guitar to play.The original drummer Jac Pearson came back into the band from their school and we were a four piece.We played little shows in Perth Australia and our first Big day Out in 1999, where your Marilyn Manson, Korn and Hole & Soundgarden played that year...I met and spent some time with Korn after the show. We were signed in the year of 1999 at the age of 17 years old and went on to tour internationally & nationally Romania, we shared the stage with 'Boys to Men', The Scorpions At the Golden Stagg festival and in Australia Robbi williams,Emma Bunton,Saggy at Ruma in- front of 45,000 ppl and national tours. If you have seen that movie : "Almost famous" that was our life, it was very hard to come off tour and be in a normal lifestyle, it took some adjusting. We spent a year in the studio recording our Debut album at 301 studios in Sydney. We recorded all our own guitar and drum takes and vocals on ourselves. Our first album we recorded back in 1997, though the record company said it was too Nivana and Silverchair to release and too garage band sounding. Being around music and gigs was normal to me from a child as my father was amongst the London scene in the 60's of Rock and roll and was friends and had musicians in his band with many well known musicians such as Led Zep, Mick Jagger and Deep Purple Etc. Our Mainstream career was cut short due due to some record company decisions of overspending in certain areas and we didn't get the chance to tour our album. Our Lash album is on Spotify if anyone wants to find it and my solo project The 'Silverscene' ep was on Spotify too. Look up "Love Shack Studios" in Melbourne Australia, our lead gutarist Jessicca Bennett is the audio Engineer and produces some amazing songs and artists.
