FREAKY MEGA RARE Avon Volunteer Fire Department Working Chimney Fire Response!!!!!

Filmed 2/26/20. This is among the greatest responses I have EVER caught in my life! At 12:00 hours Avon was toned for a reported chimney fire. Car 24 arrived on scene & confirmed heavy flames rising from the chimney. Mutual aid from Tunxis Hose was requested. Ladder 12 was requested to respond first so they could stretch a line down the chimney, as fire had spread into the walls.
AVON VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDING IN ORDER:
1-ladder 12
2-fire-police 19
3-fire-police captain
4-engine 7
5-tanker 20
6-Avon 3
7-car 19 (duty officer spare being used by Avon 1)
8-rescue 8
2 units got checked off my bucket list: tanker 20 & car 19!!!!! I wanted a response from tanker 20 ever since they refurbished it & I also wanted a response from car 19. Now I have both! Enjoy! Facebook: / jazzbutterworth-emerge...

Looks like if that ladder had 1lb to much air in the tires it would be dragging the top of the door. Talk about a perfect fit.

I was not only impressed with the response of the department(s) but with how the drivers pulled to the right and stopped to let the emergency vehicles pass and continue on their way to the call.

Great stuff out in the Rural areas... nice catch! We get this in the big city every day but it's definitely cool to see good hustle and work out in the boondocks

The sad aspect of a VFD is the dangers involved by apparatus running code, then you have all those POVs adding to the danger.

Im curious as to how this call went out? Did it go to the other station first or was this station just slower to arrive at the station? Because the other engine was already code and screaming by before this one could get the second rig out of the garage.
