@@riotdrone You fucking shitting me right now, dude? What do you think, that there are no justifiable hierarchies? Yes, most hierarchies that exist right now are completely unjustifiable, but there are absolutely hierarchies that you can justify easily. For example, a parent and a child, mentor and student. You could even call a queue line a hierarchy, formed by "first come, first serve". I have been in anarchist groups for a large portion of my life and I've read dozens of books on the subject never heard anyway say or read anywhere that there are no justifiable hierarchies. Like seriously, how are you so confident and still so wrong!? Anarchism is founded on a belief that humans have the capacity to organize themselves without any oppressive systems like a state, and some hierarchies will always be needed in order to do that.

You should really do a better job screening your guests. This EJ person pretends to be an anarchist, but in reality all he does is defend the reactionary authoritarian capitalist regime of Vietnam and whenever he's challenged on theory it's clear his grasp of it is poor, not to mentioned his weird comments about the Holocaust and consent. I understand you can't sift through everything a potential guest has ever said, but an "anarchist" choosing to move to Vietnam is an obvious red flag.

Command and Conquer devs were too cowardly to cover EJ's alternate timeline where the Nazis were correct about the material conditions and thus were justified in the holocaust. Tim seems like a nice and good faith person, I can see how the "aw shucks I'm just a white boy with too much privilege" routine might work on him. Just don't ask any follow up questions lmao.

I kinda agree with Fred about reviews. I write hip hop reviews, maybe it’s just bc I only review the ones I get on vinyl, but I have hundreds I’ve don’t hundreds of reviews, and not ONE is negative. I understand the point if you’re like the needle drop where you’re supposed to be objectively reviewing everything that comes out, but personally yeah I’d prefer to focus on stuff I like there is a weird focus on listening to things you hate and putting a weird amount of energy into it

@@flawed_vision I've heard the song Red Right Hand, and I've known the name Nick Cave for forever, but I'd never listened to them. I miss out on a lot of good music because I don't take the time and effort to do any research. I didn't listen to Sparklehorse for many years because I thought it was a stupid name for a band...Yeah, I'm dumb... Side note, I just found out where I 1st heard Red Right Hand...Back in 1996 an album was released called "Songs in the Key of X: Music from and Inspired by the X-Files". I purchased it because it had a previously unreleased song by Danzig, and I was a HUGE Danzig fan back then. I remember Red Right Hand being one of the few songs on the disc that I liked.
