As the greatest living RU-vid commentator of all time, I bestow on you the award of "Point out the pink elephant in the corner of the room". This award is for those who dare to break the mold, for those who rise up from ground and scream, "I have had enough...the world has gone mad". You my friend have the awareness of a wolf, the observation skills of a hawk, the words of a snake charmer, and the gumption of Napoleon himself.

Nov 10 1970 - he would have been 66 at the time - relatively young by today's standards, but 50 years ago the lifespan of the average US male was only 67 compared to 76 in 2020 (dang- I have a lot to do in the next 3 years....:) )

As an addict of David Niven’s diaries Fred is the only person in classic Hollywood who could be described as having had a truly blissful marriage (one which began in tragedy), total domestic harmony and mutual faithfulness for the week, and one raucous house party at the Astaires every Saturday night.

Looking at Fred, it’s crazy to think he was born in 1899. 122 years ago he was born and he died 34 years ago. I love pretty much all movies he did and of course this interview with Dick was epic. Dick had a number of good interviews. I believe though I was most displeased with Marlon Brando (due to his attitude and lack of emotion) and Janis Joplin. (Clearly incoherent and too drugged to have any decent conversation)

Is this channel ever going to show Dick Cavett shows where he interviews Jackie Gleason and/or Art Carney? I don’t have the Decades channel.

Stop adding black bars to the sides of these clips to make them 16:9. RU-vid does that automatically for anyone viewing these clips on a 16:9 monitor. You are only making the viewing experience worse for people who want to watch these on a 4:3 screen.

have nothing against the other celebs that were on this show but is this channel ever going to show the Dick Cavett shows where he interviews Jackie Gleason or Art Carney? How about any Honeymooners actors that were part of the main cast? These are rarities much like all of these.

These actors are great but do you know who is greater? Jesus. He is selfless and loving. He died for everyone's sins, past, present, and future. Be careful when watching these films. We mustn't make these people our idols. Exodus 20:3-5 says "You must not have any other god but me. You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens on earth or in the sea. You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods." Not only that, but the end times are here. 2 Timothy 4:1-5 states "You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. People will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!" This is merely to inform people, not to attack them. God bless.
