I wish I had a little foresight as a younger man, I turn 39 on Nov 27, and trucking had afforded me great things in life. I've been to 11 countries and my shih Zhu has pissed in 46 states. I feel like there is a better way if you lift yourself and use your money to work for you. Learn and love and experience life

I just got my cdl. Just got thru my first year as a flatbeder. Quit that company and am "home". It's a damn lonely industry for sure. I should probably just stay on the road though. Every time I come home I always get myself into trouble. My plan is to get through today. Just get through each day. I've seen a lot of old truckers and most are bitter and angry. You're right. I find myself going in that direction...

Fred is great .I got turned on to him at a Austin city limit festival.. that i was unaware of.. ..what i mean is I was just riding around the country and called a friend of mine and she said well if your bored you can go. To san Antonio and see ray Willie Hubbard..or you could ride to Austin and see James mcmurtry... at the continental club ... at the continental club which is just a hpke I the wall bar james mcmurtry cameoff stage and was standing be hind me at the bar for a beer.. .I said hello and I been listen to you for years.. you should listen to me ..hesays well shit let's have a beer and you sing to me then!..so we did..at that age show imet two gals and they told me they were intown from Ashville Carolina.. and that it was austincity limits fest they were there to see ..cool..Sotheby's next Daltrey called me and isaidhow much are tickets to this thing..they said well we paid like 400 dollars on line months ago for the whole weekend and its sold out now..but we know someone who mayhaveanextra ..so they introduced me to this woman who said her husband had died and so he would be there inspire and after talking to me she had decided to just give me his ticket on the condition that I have a good time..how about that ?so I said well thanks but I didn't have any place to stay and rooms were all sold out over town..the girls that ihad met said .well just stay with us this weekend ...lol so it was a great weekend that just some how happened ..and they turned me onto Fred ..they said yup Fred writes about your life and you should listen ...
