Art rock/pop of the highest order. It was a bit surprising to hear Fred Frith sing, but I grew used to it after a couple listens. Fred's flat vocals on Same Old Me perfectly fit the mocking tone of the lyrics. Thankfully, Fred could never be accused of providing the same old thing with his music. As much as Fred is rightfully hailed for his guitar mastery, I love the loopy soundscapes he came up with on a Casiotone-101 on this album.
