Old gang They did some spec ups bullshit To uncover the man behind the mask. The company that made them all right. Let's start a new show except let's make the old gang complete. Fucking wet farts that get taken out by A toddler on a trike. Or that mime down the road Oh yeah let's make friend a fucking perv Thelma a living punching bag Is shaggie a whimp above all whimps Let's not forget to exclude the dog.
I think I've made enough of a point here that they butchered a childhood show to the point where even if they brought it back, it wouldn't matter no one would try to watch It. Cause they would look at the sgreen and remember this bullshit
The real fred I grew up with: - Would do literally anything to protect his friends - Capable of building near flawless traps - Could benchpress 450 - Broke the "mean bully jock" stereotype in the best possible way - Was a total badass (I mean he grabbed on to a helicopter AS IT WAS FLYING) Fred Jones was the man 🔥
Fred was literally the face of positivity masculinity and breaking stereotypes of the jocks all being toxic then velma ruined that dam that's alot of likes... well thank you now who wanna help with this weekends genocide damn 10k we have enough comments to start genocide ourselves
Fred was literally the face of stereotypes about White men and then when you learn to know him you found out he s brave, loyal, sweet and emphatic, everything that can be good in a man and then they ruin him
Not gonna lie they did the same for Robin from teen titans The one from teen titans go is so stupid and ugly and then the one from teen titans is strong 💪and looks way better😂
Fred was the perfect gentleman. A leader who respected and cared for women, while still focusing on himself enough to be a good man. And they turned him into... Whatever the fuck that is.
Fred may have at times been a little dumb and eccentric but he wasn't a blithering idiot. He was always well meaning and cared deeply for his friends, and always had a trap to catch the bad guy.
To be honest I’m kind of glad that he isn’t in the Velma show because who knows what would’ve become of him. By not adding him in he’s still the same dog we all know and love
No she just likes to push her narrative in everything she does in uncreative ways. At this point, she can't even create her own story tackling unequal representation and had to resort to changing the blueprint of a beloved childhood show
My mom (a HUGE Scooby Doo fan) started to watch an episode of Velma, not sure if she made it 5 mins in before changing the channel. For the record this woman has watched every scooby doo movie both good and bad as well as owns pretty much all the old vhs ones, after that she told me to never turn that show on again because of how bad it was and when I showed her the meme about scooby not being in it to avoid ruining the character she immediately agreed with it.
How dare they do that to Fred. He was brave and he knew how to make a trap or make a plan even if he was under pressure. He treats Daphne like a queen and ALWAYS supported Shaggy and Scooby whenever they get scared, always valued Velma's input when they all made plans to catch the villain of the week.
Because they want to spread propaganda that all men are dumb , arrogant and weak but women are smart , wise and strong, it's a communist tactic similar to what a show in north Korea does that shows Americans as weak and fragile
@@Kitsune-ri8dk they didn't include scooby doo , velma became an insufferable little prick , daphne also became unlikeable , fred became a wuss and worst of all... they replaced shaggy with a simp...
New Fred: - drinks toliet water - cutting steak with the handle - cry after being slapped OG Fred: - jumps from van to airplane - captures criminals - swings over twenty feet on a rope - builds amazing traps - really loves Daphne - saved the world
So are we forgetting him breaking free of asylum restraints and wrestling his dad to the ground while he was holding a gun hypnotized or fought of ghost possession with sheer will power?
When I saw him dressed up as a child, I passed out out of sheer freaking terror when I woke up. I didn't remember why I was passed out until I looked atnyone. Have ear bleach
Fred was the most badass boy scout I have ever seen. He was so proud of his traps and he was so good to Daphne. They massacred him in Velma and I hate it
The show Velma is so not what I expected I thought it would be like a cool adult version but ended up being a bad parody of Scooby do and they make Velma look so stupid in the show for her own show which makes no sense sense she's supposed to be the smart problem solver it's really annoying actually and I wish I could use the writer for copy writing a great series not just show series but movie series too
Loved it too. I know some people djdnt live Freds characterization in Mystery Inc but it’s one of my favorite iterations of him. He was my fav character. Mystery Inc gives the impression it was made by fans for fans while Velma was made to piss fans off
Fred became a cop. Velma a scientist, shaggy a culinary artist. Daphine a journalist. They could've went that route but no had to be on some dumb bs. SMH.
@@seamuspower8778 you are but aren’t correct, yes his name is Norville but he prefers shaggy, and everyone calls him that so it’s his first name(From a technical standpoint) the Velma show calls him Norville to be “Meta” and “Quirky”
Also couldn't get the license to use the name shaggy or to use Scooby-Doo. They are usually pretty liberal about that which should tell you how bad Velma had to be for them to deny the request.
I don’t understand the minds of people who thought the Velma show is good in anyway. Especially in comparison to every other Scooby Doo show and movie. Why did they think it was a good idea to butcher these characters so severely. Why are they so stupid
They wanted to be "inclusive" about it since apparently it's kinda racist-coded for the show that they're all white. Like mf, they had been that way since before 2000's and no one had any problems with that. It's mostly Mindy Kaling's fault she taught she was a good director and writer to begin with just because people liked her from The Office
The old Fred is a perfect example of a person who cares for his team and when his teammates failed to do something he always come to the rescue. I'm pretty sad that they changed 😢😢
@@diveblock2058 ill push it off on your generation all i want to. Your dumb generation has spearheaded the white hate culture. Now racism is completely unacceptable....unless its against white ppl
"Fred was just the jock of the team" He wasn't just a jock, he was brave, strong, bold and independent, but still cared about the important people to him and did what he could to help his friends
Eh, it’ll be fine. In two years, people will forget about Velma. Meanwhile, WB may make another series that goes back to basics. Or at least takes notes from better, past iterations with a new twist.
And stop that, capture an enemy with the net and use stakes as immobilizers with an excellent price, that and the others from before were great Velma as in moments of action they were great
Or he's just someone else who playing with same name and same build but his the lowest nub you can found in any match who can't even rotate screen until he stand in one place
Man Fred was gang leader for a reason, now he ain't even the main character. As for Shaggy, well we've all seen memes of 'Shaggy at 0.1% power' for a reason
@@Lardianyt they were actually planning another season but Cartoon Network cancelled it probably cuz like you said it reached its natural conclusion although the storyline for the season is on fandom
For the Velma show, they entirely retconned Fred’s backstory to make him extremely wealthy so that he would better fit Mindy’s anti-white racist agenda. Fred wasn’t some hyper coddled rich boy. Shaggy was the one who was an heir to a great fortune. But Mindy projected all this crap onto him. It’s really difficult not to come to the conclusion that she was motivated by racial bias.
Velma ruined the hell out of Fred. He was a nice dude who loved building traps, and even defied his own father multiple times. He was the guy, but that damn show made him 'that guy'
Fred was cool bc despite being athletic and “the” handsome guy, he didn’t hang out with other jocks. He got himself a van and a crew to help him solve mysteries. That’s what he loved doing and he found a misfit group of kids willing to have those adventures. Daphne could have been at the mall with the cool girls but she was into Fred and the adventures. And they all cared and protected each other.
scooby is a paid employee, and shaggy is also given a wage despite both seeming to be just bait no idea why velma hangs out with them, maybe cause nerd stuff?
They All Were Respectable Parts Of Mystery Inc. Them,Scooby And The Van Just Rolling And Solving Mysteries, Now... I won't even watch that shit they label Scooby Doo.
Fred done right: excellent character and epic badass Fred done wrong: horrible character and an utter man baby who can’t do even the simplest tasks by himself
Exactly. Sure Old Fred acted like a dumbass from time to time but not always. He wasn’t a toxic sexist man child. Hell from time to time he’d get saved by the other characters. And we see why he’s such a himbo when you see his adopted sibling.
Fred in 1970: Fearless, devised complex traps to catch badguys Fred in 2001: lovable jock Fred in 2002: Freddie Prinze Jr! Fred in 2015: Net/Trap obsessed goofball Fred in 2016: Mad Max + McGuyver Fred now: barely sentient potato
Fred now is dumber than a rock he dumber than the dumbest character in media he probably does not even have a full brain because are president now only has half a brain and is smarter than new Fred
You know what I find more disappointing then Fred’s character depiction but the fact that they didn’t even go all the way and race change him to. If they actually wanted to put their money where their mouths were and race change everyone but still insult white people they could have easily made Fred German or Russian. But know they had to half ass their race changing agenda by not going all the way.
Fred is one of the best examples of how men should be in my opinion. Sure he can be an idiot but he is kind, strong, can admit when he is wrong, and loyal to loved ones
Fred back then was an actual Chad, he’s the definition of a man. Protecting his friends at all costs and stands on business. Like you know how much force and strength you must have to shoot make an arrow come out of the other side of a tree.
Fred has literally always been an example of how masculinity can be super positive and a good role model for boys. Velma saw that and said “nah we hate men he’s bad”.
He was great. The whole cast was. Velma: Smart, but reliable and loyal to her friends Fred: Strong, dedicated to what he enjoys, willing to make the sacrifice for others Shaggy: Willing to face his fears, the type of friend you could text at 3am saying "I need help" and he would be there.
I think society as a whole has treated gender roles poorly and there’s nothing wrong with being masculine or feminine I won’t get into the moralistic theological and historical understanding of it. But to put it simply men should be proud of who they are, and not ashamed if they are men should be able to share there experiences without fear of judgement. The same applies to women they should be proud of who they are and should be able to share their experiences without fear of judgment. Within the context of love there should be a respect for the other gender and a truly moralistic law abiding love. Something society has lost because they do not follow the commandments or the virtues of the civilized world.
I miss: Fred's resourcefulness and good leadership. Daphne's impactful strengths that are disguised WITH her beauty and quite independent. Velma's quick wit and analytical prowess. Shaggy's and Scooby's quick thinking and quick improvissions. They were the classic school stereotypes--a jock, beauty, nerd, and loser with his dog. However, they were not molded to be such stereotypes because they fit each other well, support each other, and have each other's backs. They fill each other's gaps through thick and thin. This show, however, took a precious gem and grind it to dust. 😢😢😢
They are like people might get offended but I want to be offended you know it's just I don't care about new versions of cartoon characters I want them to come back as they were it just hurts to watch them kill a show because we want to accept people but we already have accepted people everyone really doesn't to get cancelled but trying not to get cancelled gets you cancelled so just bring back what everyone wants
Fred used to legit be someone I wanted to emulate. Good hearted, loyal to his friends at all times, trying to be a good boyfriend, brave, creative, and with a strong will to solve problems. Then they made him basically be a little bitch.
Don't worry, I think people got that message well. There's actually a Season 2 of this trash but no one's ever mentioned it and that makes me gain my hopes for humanity a little bit
