I don't know how much it's speaking to other players than the format. I mean post games interviews are not really the place to tell people about your contract situation, those are team events. This interview is about him. It probably does help to speak to other players, but no one that's been following Fred career had any doubt he'd want to get paid.

He's not signing with the Knicks. He said at around 11:00 about knowing what teams are. He's too smart to take the success he's had and take a terrible bet that he can continue that with an organization like the Knicks.

I feel like the knicks might overpay at around 20-22 a year. They would still have enough cap space for a max player. But if I were the raptors I would match that price. Fred is worth it
