It's too important that McLaren come back winning. We're talking about the team of Fittipaldi, James Hunt, Niki Lauda, Alain Prost, Ayrton Senna, Mika Hakkinen, sir Lewis and many many others
@@mal3x I think that's not going to happen. Adrian Newey above all else hates politics in a F1 team, and Ferrari is all about internal politics and power struggles, so it would make no sense for him to go there now when he is much older and probably can't even be bothered with the Red Bull political fiasco, let alone take on a different one. You can dream, but realistically, it's not gonna happen.
I wasn't rooting for McLaren, but could not be happier for Lando and the team. As others have commented, today was so very special because, for a brief moment, we saw and felt the joy of true camaraderie in F1.
That's why I think this version of McLaren has garnered so much success. Adapting to social media, young and entertaining drivers, and most importantly, not taking themselves too seriously. You don't get that sterile feeling as you do say with Mercedes. You just get the inpression that you'd want to go to work everyday because you enjoy the enviroment. Zak's truly built something special with that team 🧡
@oliverboisen7475 this! Every other team seems so serious and dower with some drama going on but then there's just McLaren. In their own lane and "quietly" pushing for wins
I noticed that too. Had to don my Tag with the Gulf livery colors on the face today. I wasn't rooting for McLaren, but could not be happier for Lando and the team.
When a driver takes his first win, everybody is happy for him. You could see genuine, heartwarming smiles on Max's and Charles faces when they were congratulating Lando, they were truly sincere.
What I loved is that everyone, even Max, was delighted for Lando For the first time in a long time, irrespective of what’s said on track via radio, there seems genuine camaraderie in the sport: the same camaraderie that pushed guys like Jackie Stewart to fight for the safety not of rivals but of brothers on the track Great to see Well done Lando
..Even Max? Max would be undoubtedly one of the happiest on the grid for Lando. It's not a major threat to his reign and he's happy to see one of his longest competitors get their first W after 15 podiums, which Max was apart of preventing those wins before. You're just one of those cringe weirdo fans. is okay.
Not everyone who is expected to win is so magnanimous and gracious when they don’t. That it somehow surprises you that someone expected to win is incapable of being supportive, you don’t have to look back too far. I suggest you start with car 44 if you want to see a prime example of who spits out the dummy, then blames the team, when things don’t go his way
Fred is the kind of team principle everyone in F1 would wish for. And @Ted, yes, Max could not turn his car as he would wish for and that was a major deficit, but this track was tough and slippery for all drivers. Lando won because he was the best on track yesterday. Lando won on merit. He will win more GPs this season.
Fred is such a gentleman and I love that he's bringing back that spirit of gentlemanly competition back in F1. You only have to see him talking to Carlos and Charles to see that he's not putting on an act, the guy was grilling Carlos for not having a gf and Carlos went and got one the next week lmao. Absolute best uncle of the paddock and a total class act
I'm a Ferrari fan but i'm, happy For Lando and Mclaren. Hopefully Mclaren and Ferrari can challenge Redbull for the constructor and driver title next season
Fred is such a departure from the usual Ferrari TP. Binotto would not have been caught hanging around a McLaren win celebration and wearing a papaya hat.
you would never see Toto Wolff do that at a Red Bull win, or Horner do that on a Merc win. McLaren and Ferrari has a wholly different relationship as ancient rivals but a lot of respect between them
Vasseur prépare l'avenir !! Et il a bien raison, Norris c'est l' avenir de Ferrari.. Mais d' abord il faut qu'il soit champion du monde avec Mc laren..
