I'm Australian and I don't hate any English person at all. I know that's not what you meant but it came across as a bit harsh. Freddie is a particular favourite n Aus though, his personality is very compatible with our sense of humour. Respect.
He is so funny! I am an American Andrew Flintoff fan. I had to learn about cricket to keep following him. Great story about Rocky. Children really are the best revenge!
PeanutBuddha I saw him on the Graham Norton show. He was incredibly funny, smart, and, I have to say, attractive, that I searched for him on RU-vid and Google.Wish I had grown up with cricket. It really is an interesting game.
+parkviewmo Ah cool! Yeah freddie was a fun cricketer when he played, too bad injuries got the better of him. Although he still does commentary for big bash league in australia and he's brilliant. I reckon you watch a league of their own as well? If not, you'll enjoy it!
Yes, I watch ALOTO as well as the fish chip van et al. When I started watching the cricket clips was when I had to do some study to understand all of what I was watching. With really great athletes, on center stage, it is always pretty obvious what is happening!
I first learned about him because of 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown. I love, love, love Panel Shows. Then I saw him 😍. I am not so easily impressed by looks, but this guy def made me do a double take.
Aw Freddie, you left before the happy end ...... Or is that the part of the story you changed? LOL love this man because he's so bloody candid about himself and everything. He's not as dumb as he makes out. I suspect he's quite shrewd. He has great humour and has grown to be a terrific man. If you accept him as he is you gotta luv him. What is extraordinary is that he gets better looking, looks younger now and physically looks better than ever before. Does he have a portrait somewhere in a cupboard??? LOL
He was hilarious during the Big Bash, taking the piss out of Ricky Ponting. I don't think Punter knew how to react. Perhaps that is why he wasn't invited back, but I loved it.
I have to agree with Freddie... I'm from Yorkshire and couldn't give a toss that he's from Lancashire, despite the rivalry between the counties. Same goes for Botham. County cricket is just passing the time between Ashes, and World Cups. We might have banter at a Roses match, but it's in no way as tribal as football crowds get. And once the match is over you go for a drink or go home.
8:08 I always thought that macho silly bravado challenges culture was quite childish and here's FF admitting it. You've got to give it to him - he's very honest.
