I know Freddie has a couple shaky moments this year, but man can this guy RAP it gives a real nostalgic feel its not to simple or complex that dude just raps really well
If you in the streets and have beef you can get caught lacking easy. Getting jumped is nothing to sweat. Ive seen the realest niggas lose fade's and keep it pushing.
That's his style man, I be listening to his music and the beats he uses are wild. You just know when it's a Gibb song. He just slides on it before I even think he's about the start rapping lmfao
THE OG CHARLOTTE RAPPER WHO ALL RAPPERS GOT TO CHECK IN WITH WHEN THE GO TO CHARLOTTE!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-t-TbksbA5qM.html
This guy's definitely in my top rappers in the era. Every album is classic. Outside of Rap does a lot of crazy things and I didn't even know he was beefing with Benny the butcher. That shows how much I pay attention. I hope that stuff stops quick because they are both incredible MC's
He never ever dropped a garbage album. Ever!!! Idk no artist like. Nas is my favorite rapper ever and wu tang is my best group ever. But even they dropped some not so good albums. Freddie never disappoints.
Freddie has been one of my fav underrated spitters since 2013. As much as people like to not give him his credit or question his authenticity when it comes to his industry antics, he’s definitely one of the best rappers out right now like it or not.
The most impressive part about this is him just jumping right in, no preparation, no ad libs, no bullshit. I've been a huge freestyle fan for years and I don't think I've ever seen that before.
He went in too perfect so I see only two possibilities. Either they had the beat going in his headphones with the drums over that intro already, and they edited it for the video how we're hearing it. Or he knew the beat really well and knew exactly where the drop was going to be. What he did doesn't just happen like that, he'd have to be psychic. It was great.
@@dennisparker1561 That's not what I'm saying. As an artist, I'm sure you know how difficult it can be to line up with a beat, even with pre-written lyrics. It takes time to adjust to a rhythm you've never heard before.
@@blkbird This could be valid. If, by chance, he's really that good then that's incredible. But I wouldn't doubt the idea that they pre-play the beat. Still a solid freestyle though, especially for one of today's artists.
Freddie Gibbs Killed Dis FreeStyle He’s One Of My Favorite Rap Lyricists Of All Time His Flow Always Been Dope And On Point He’s A Very Underrated Lyricist Gray Indiana Legend

I am super baffled by how underrated and unheard of he is because he has everything and he is the total package but it's just like, people are so ignorant! now when the man dies, which hopefully is no time soon, you're going to see his views and everything skyrocket and people will act like they were here from the beginning.
It's Funks face when Freddie Gibbs went in on Akademiks is priceless 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Hommie threw his hands up quick 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 And then the R.Kelly comment at the end - "Register when you come out but,, we praying for you" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
My opinion nobody can't hang with that man my opinion his bars too sick he going to mess around and be the next Tupac watch or close to it mark my words
FLAMEZZ !!!!!!!!!!! I've been following Freddie since BFK ! He was already fire back then, and every year he keeps on getting better. Can't wait for the album !!!!
That's a fact, I been fucking with him since Str8 killa No Filla Mixtape. Seen him live twice sun is funny in person too. He definitely need his own show or something lol.
For me Shadow of A Doubt and ESGN up there with the collab projects. Heck even his mixtapes like Baby Face Killa, Cold Day In Hell & Str8 Killa No Filla too. I wish more people rated his first collab tape he made with Statik Selektah (Lord Giveth Lord Taketh Away)
@@godsandmonstars way more polished than benny is the butcher is super dope but he can’t piece albums together like gibbs all he makes is classics id say pusha t and gibbs are more similar
I keep seeing this dude's name getting thrown around, but this was my first time actually listening to him. Bruh this dude kills. Definitely has my attention.
Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee and Kentucky have ALL had some type of success from someone in hip hop. I thought I'd NEVER see the day someone from Indiana would finally bridge the gap and put Indiana on the map. FREDDIE GIBBS CAN MFn RAP!!! #574 #219 #INDY
I got nothin but love for @freddiegibbs I’m Indiana born and raised from southern Indiana, Evansville. Lived in Indianapolis half the time too. Boonville for a little while and now the furthest south you can go in the IU state, New Harmony, Indiana writing new harmonies!!
