Freddie, I use to listen to you when i was a little kid back in the seventies in a very small town in Michoacan called El Limon. There was only one jukebox in town and people would select your songs Las Naranjas y Las Ubas and Te Traigo estas flores" all day long on sundays. The kids ( I was one of them) would play marbles just outside the ice cream parlor to hear the music all afternoon. Great memmories and thank you for those songs. -Gil Flower Mound, Texas.

Tendría unos 12 años cuando las escuché repetidas veces en casa de una vecina que para la colonia era una "putarraca", tal vez ella tenía su historia con alguien pero a mi tierna edad ni en cuenta¡ Sin embargo, esta música me traslada a aquella época y por esa razón cuando hay oportunidad la escucho para trasladarme a esa edad.

Everyone my age (21), always make fun of me for listening to "Old Music" but you know what, I can't think of any other kind of music to listen to, I guess its kinda of odd for someone my age to listen to Freddie Martinez, Carlos Guzman, Joe Bravo, Steve Jordan, Sunny Ozuna and so on... the list goes on!!! Freddy and Agustin Ramirez were always and still been my favorite bands from back then. I like the fact that Freddy was singing his songs like he recorded them. Unlike Agustin as I've heard on youtube lately, he tends to sing the songs differant than how he recorded them. Which disappoints me coz they sound a lot better the original way that he recorded them. If he ever plays live again, i hope he sees this post.
