These oldies remind me of my family gatherings, it was a great time had. RAZA, DON’T FORGET THAT YOUR FAMILY IS THE MOST IMPORTANT/ONLY THING WE HAVE IN OUR LIFETIME🙏🏽
A beautiful song. My family always loved this song, ON August 10, 2006 I lost my son who was 41. That night, I think all the stars cried, but the one bright star told me that he did not die, he was with me. Una Estrellita Lloro, is one of my favorites. O yes you can find Freddy Martinez music at Walmart. Or go to a record shop and order it. He is dynamic, and thanks for posting his song. I miss my son so much, but I keep hearing the favorite song we all shared as family. Thanks MarOcampo.
I agree with all the comments. I became personally acquainted with Freddy in Corpus Christi when I was stationed with the Navy at the Naval Air Station. I am a native "Nuevo Mejicano" from New Mexico and used to New Mexico music but Freddy and his contemporaries like Agustin Ramirez, Sunny Ozuna and Little Joe captivated my attention and I attended their many concerts at the now defunct 'Colleseum" in Corpus Christi.
I saw Freddie Martinez back when he was starting to become a big hit 1974 at Vera's Palladium in Weslaco, Tx. Wonderful memories of my youth. Viva la onda Chicana! Hooaaahhh!
