I am shocked. Seriously. I should have noticed it, for Gods sake, I’m an opera girl ffs! I thought it was a bit different but I didn’t think much of it. The voice is a delicate instrument and many things affect it. Then I read your comment and was like ”haha, no way”. Then I listened it again, closely. And again. And I was like ”wait, that’s not Montses vibrato…and the tone is different. No, it resembles her quite a bit but it’s not her voice.” But still, I didn’t believe it could be Freddy. Then I google it and listen to some videos where he sings in falsetto. And honestly…I don’t even know what to say. That is freaking crazy. Impressive but…a bit crazy. Like how on Earth could he do that? It sounds like it’s a (trained) female voice😳
@@flav2689 He certainly had a very unique voice. Definitely the type of voice I don’t think any of rocker possessed. But of course, Freddie wasn’t just any rock singer haha
A musical genius on the level of the old masters ... some of his best work was towards the end of his life .. his meeting with Montserrat Caballe gave him new directions to explore .. they were amazing together ! Such a loss !!
Absolutely beautiful. I've always struggled to believe it is Freddie singing, even though everywhere it is written that it is. I finally can believe it after seeing this video, this version and Ensueno with Freddie and Montserrat Caballe are my favourite tracks from the Barcelona album, I could listen to them over and over. Rest In Peace two beautiful artists.
