I’m completely obsessed with Queen and Freddie Mercury and I’m 76years old. My favorite is the song he wrote for Mary. But I listen to them all over and over again.
Lord he was a Spirit that definitely had lived in past times an I believe still probably had a couple more in the future an I want him to cross my path again 💯🙏 Thank you for bringing us wonderful Beautiful music love you Mr Mercury an Queen four Legends for Sure . Your music speaks to me an touches my Soul 👑👒🎩🧢💯🔥💫👏🙌😎😍🌹🌹🌹🌹🌞🕊️💞💞🕊️
👍🎸🥁🎸🎹🎤🎼🤴👑💓💓💓🌈🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Freddie was perfect. He had the body of what a real man is supposed to look like. He has the most beautiful eyes. I loved his personality as well. How I miss you my darling. You will live in my heart FOREVER!
You are so right! And even teenage girls see that he was perfect. He was built just like a man should be and also he had some special radiating energy that he showed in everything he did.
Freddie had something so special about him. Especially when you look in his eyes. It is hard to put into words. His energy was not from this world. Flaws and all, he is/was completely mesmerizing. RIP Freddie. Love to you, wherever you are.
I agree about something so special about him looking into his eyes, like feeling him sensually. He's definitely one helluva sexy man. I prayed & talked outloud for days wanting him to come in a dream & FINALLY, a few days after i stopped, he was in a dream. I love how he's so opposite on stage vs off stage. All 4 guys are unbelievably talented, and comparing to other bands thru out my years...they can't be beat. Queen is one of a kind
He's said before that was his stage persona. He often said in interviews that off stage he's just a normal human being. One who loves to have fun and hang out with friends and everything and yes, very high energy, but the "flamboyance" was all part of his job as a front man. He also said what people consider "flamboyant" to him is just normal. The man just basically marched to the beat of his own drum in every facet of his life and I love him for that. Enternally grateful to him and to the universe for gifting us with him for 45+eternity years. Long live Freddie 💖
He also said he needed to find something to GRAB people's attention and the spandex and make up in the early days is " What Worked "!! He was a man of very high intelligence and intensity! He just seemed to know what his fans wanted!! His Video's show the changes every step of the way , from the 70's right to the end almost. I so grateful that when asked what he wanted to be filmed , he replied " Just film EVERYTHING, we can edit it later"!! Wow!! For the new fans it is wonderful for them to be able to see that and know he really was just doing his job and that was not who he really was!! It's too bad that in one interview , the one that is mentioned here he also said " I just want people to realize , I'm a Human Being "!! To have to tell people , remind them of something they should have already known on their own is really sad!! I have been a fan for over 36 years and saw the tabloids and the absolutely nasty things being reported about him!! It's all true about Paul Prenter too!! I remember reading the paper when he called Freddie's home " AIDS LODGE" And not Garden Lodge!! What a beast!! 💔💔
He was gorgeous!!! One in a billion human being, incredible talent, and put on this earth to bring us love, music, humour and appreciation of life!! I feel lucky to have been alive the same time as him x Will love you forever Freddie x
He is a entertainer and frontman and the best at it. He is also the greatest singer and does exactly what he is paid for. They all are that way. Fantastic.❤️❤️❤️❤️
I think this is the first time I've ever cried because of this, I just especially miss him today.... You are missed dear Freddie, the greatest singer and songwriter ever, the most talented musician. So gentle and kind.
"Who Wants To Live Forever"? While Freddie is no longer with us in the flesh his memory is burnt into our hearts and he will live forever in our souls. He was the greatest Rock Showman ever, his singing/ songwriting and Stage presence was never seen before or since. When Freddie was made they broke the mould and we will never see his like again. In the studio, on stage where ever Freddie was he was one of kind and I am proud to be a massive fan of Queen especially Freddie and so glad I was around in the 70s/80s to witness the phenomenon that was Freddie Mercury and Queen. Rest Easy Freddie thanx for all the Fab music and for filling my life with your glorious presence on God's Green Earth. Rock On In Heaven King Freddie The Greatest Showman EVER!
There are countless musician's, yet only one Freddie Mercury, I think Fred in 2020, would still have had alot to keep us on our toes! ♥️A lot of 🎵 songs⭐🎶
UsedCondomCollector actually, him being Indian/Persian brought a lot of representation into the music business, he also brought a lot of lgbtq+ representation, and being a huge public figure who was lost to AIDS (not to mention the charity for AIDS research in his name raised so much money for the cause) actually gave people more motivation to find a treatment. upon this he also influenced fashion and he’s also, of course, regarded my most as on of the greatest frontmen to ever exist. he made the world a more accepting place so for a lot of people including myself, he did, in fact, change the world.
So articulate so mesmerizing so beautiful inside and out. The mold was broken after he was created. There is a strength about him but at the same tie there is a softness. He is still greatly loved to this day. Someone told him when he was very young that he was going to be famous one day to which Freddie replied " No, I am not going to be famous" Then he stood up and held his arms out wide and said " I am going to be a legend" Well spoken Freddie
Queen was the Only band with well educated Smart as hell guys playing the instruments!! But Freddie was the master genius talented lead singer with unbelievable imagination and extraordinary Voice from heaven!! Love his voice and his accent and charismatic personality and sex appeal!!!👏👏👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👏👏
CR, I agree! Never realized how authentic and unassuming he was. Also his mother said that anytime he was with them, he didn’t want to talk about his work and was always respectful to her and just wanted the normalcy of his family.
I was not born yet when Queen conquered the world, but I’m still obsessed with him/ the band till today in 2019. Not another single musician has made me listen to his/her songs non stop. Dear lord, He is a true legend and so handsome!
The world could learn a lot from Freddie’s life He lived it to the fullest he did what he wanted and his kind soul shall remain Legendary just like he wanted to be a LEGEND He’s sexy AF gorgeous brown eyes gay or not he is a beautiful soul
@@orianna9200 to be fair, he didn't know about aids at the time, very few did. Once he processes the possibilities he in his own words "became a nun" But by then it was too late 😥💛
I dont care one second if he was gay or not. I love Freddie for all the wonderful music, love, and what a generous he was. There are no words can describe him, the energy and love was just beyond the universe. RIP Freddie and you are never boring!
3:00 - i love how Freddie talks about how the concert performances deliver something different than the studio version because that's one thing of the great things about Queen. You get multiple version of songs - the amazing studio version as well as the versions performed live. In my Queen playlist, i have at least 2-3 versions of several songs because each one gives you something unique. An extended vocal or piano intro, Freddie improving with the lyrics, an added guitar section or drum solo, etc. Queen are the first band where i actually prefer the live performances to the studio recorded tracks. :)
I just noticed how smashing Freddie's outfit is... The canary yeLLow fitted jacket..with the bold buckles.. Then the striped down the leg, thank you very much, white pants.....so "Freddie"...sweet souL🙅👩❤🐱❤
I love Freddie Mercury I love his teeth!why not he is good looking I really hate what happened to him. He will always live in our memories, he's absolutely wonderful all of Queen was.
Freddie's teeth....if anyone considers them a flaw...just think if he'd had ordinary orthodontically perfected teeth....he would have been unbearably beautiful...I adore Freddie as was....🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I could watch and listen to him every day of my life and I have for about 6 months now I love him breaks my heart that he is dead and how he suffered and how brave he was generous kind and brilliant a true genius
To those who are haters and disliked him on the thumbs down button....oh I know your just jealous! What a fabulous artist and a gem of a man. We all miss him so much. Feel bad for those too ignorant to appreciate such a grand man...a grand band. Queen . RIP Freddie
If,I'm in a bad or sad mood I can always watch Freddie Mercury and feel so much better he has that charm to make you feel like a winner love Freddie and would have loved to been his best friend
He had a voice from the heavens. So talented. Will never be another. If only he had better people around him when he was truly alone, instead of the bad influencers. He maybe would've still been here. To quote him, " I love you" he told everyone goodbye!
What a brilliant, brilliant musician!! He understood what it was all about at such a young age, he studied it! Superb! What a life he made of his birth, he created his life and positively and persistently pursued it all and made it happen! Hear hear new musicians of today!!!!
And watching Freddie Mercury in his own his words it's hard to say him or she was still at this with all his fantastic Talent but don't we all comfort music
Despite all of his outward flamboyance I see a vulnerability and I want to wrap my arms around him and make him safe. There I go, the old grandma speaking.
Soft spoken man, so gentle with words, honest to the core, n yet dangerously flamboyant shows the 2 extremes of his persona. Who is seeing his interviews time n again just to hear his voice n see his eyes, Many came n r gone Only he is around even now 29 years since his long travel up there Stay safe 😘😘😘😘
Among all the accolades that are aimed at Freddy Mercury; I have come to the conclusion ....that what made him so powerful a force in pop culture/legend is his gift of being a visionary. Every interview with those that knew him arrives at the same place, conceptually- Freddy knew what he wanted to do and deliberately did it. In interviews he mentions the “rows” the band over writing and image; but May, Taylor and Deacon all sailed under the umbrella of Freddy’s visions. He wise enough to respect their gifts, even sing their songs. But all the tint and seasoning that made Queen....QUEEN...was from the soul of Freddy Mercury. I’ve read and listened to the words of everyone who knew or worked with him, May, Ozzy, Elton and Bowie (a visionary in his own right) and the always refer back to the mental pictures Freddy painted for his art... RIP, to a deliberate man. They are so few.
Freddie did have Persian ancestry through his father's lineage. His mother was Indian, but his ancestry was mostly Parsi. Look it up. Mercury's family were "Parsi" and he was born in Zanzibar and raised in India until his mid-teens before they moved to England. "Parsi" refers to a member of the larger of the two Zoroastrian communities in South Asia and India. The present-day Parsis descend from a group of Persian Zoroastrians who immigrated to South Asia during 8th century AD due to persecution in post-Islamic Iran. "Iranis" are the other Indian-Zoroastrian community with Persian roots but they came from Iran more recently. So Mercury's Iranian lineage needs tracing for some 1200 years. He can perhaps be more properly called of "Indian-Zoroastrian" heritage.
Yes, Freddie was extremely good looking North Indian are a mix, in general, and thats why they are much lighter in skin colour than south Indians. I know many Parsis and their ancestors go back generations in India. They are happy to be Indian. I am a huge fan, but we dont really need him to be linked to our country if he was so ashamed of it and he clearly was.
To this day he is so truly missed!! You couldn't love such a beautiful person that he was and just so generous to all that he loved!!! We Still Love YOU FREDDIE MERCURY!!!
I love freddie that’s not music i refuse to believe it is. i’m literally 17 years old and i am i dedicated queen fan and can’t stand most of today’s music
