This video was well put together. I’ve seen some of the clips but not all of them. Queen did know how to throw an extravagant party for their end of tour celebration for themselves and invited guests I’m sure those who are still with us have fond memories of those days. I thought the ending was perfect, showing Freddie at sunrise, standing on the massive Magic Tour stage in the empty stadium at Budapest, taking it all in as he swung his arms, and warming his vocal chords. Makes you wonder what went through his mind when he stood alone on stage in an empty arena and stadium…Did he think back to his more humble beginnings when becoming a rockstar/legend was something he one he’d become? As in so many other captures, whether it be on film or in pictures, you see the true Freddie, the young shy vulnerable man, who transforms himself into a musical giant with the roar of the crowd. He accomplished so much in his very short life. I’m sure it was hard to accept his fate at the start, but in true fashion, he fought to the bitter end, sharing his gift so unselfishly. I’m glad he still is admired for his talents and Queen is still relevant 50+ years later. Freddie is a classic example of how hard work, and a little luck, your dreams can be fulfilled.
