A retro piece from Halloweens Past. This is the New Nightmare style Freddy glove made by Illusive Concepts/Paper Magic Group in 1995. This was released along with a pretty creepy Freddy mask and honestly is some of the cheesiest and coolest Freddy merch around!

Yeah we didn’t really get Halloween here in Australia until a few years back, but I remember seeing these all over the online costume stores back In the early 2000’s. Super huge nostalgic piece for me!

I just rewatched this again, and now I kinda wanna find one of the vinyl ones. I've never seen one in person, but they truly are one of the coolest vintage freddy items.

I recently picked up one of the Vinyl Cesar masks that I’ll be dropping a video on, I’d love to grab one of the vintage Don post ones but that would be a death sentence for it to live here in the Australian heat haha

I remember seeing one of these in a local costume shop when I was a kid in like the early to mid 2000’s. I always regretted not getting it as it was a pretty great sculpt. Great video!

im still shocked new nightmare glove merch was an actual thing back then. but also how the hell does the most difficult and complex glove end up looking better than any other version of the gloves back in the day

Well, this is super simplified for what it is, and a one piece sculpt is always gonna be easier to make mass-market than a plated metal look Freddy glove. It’s a weird thing but they genuinely did a great job with it
