Hi guys! Keeping with the halloween theme of this month here's a Freddy Krueger inspired doll repaint :D I hope you enjoy my take on the character and if you have any request for others then do leave them in the comments below ^^ This is so far the only doll I have ever made that had freaked me out while I was working on it, so enjoy ;P
Materials:
Doll (Monster high, Barbie, ect.)
Nail gel and Nail acrylic powder (UV-lamp)
Mr super clear
Acrylic paint
Watercolor pencils
Chalk pastels
Glaze
Glue
Fabric
Thin metal (for instance from a can)
Polymer clay

Love this, even being creepy as hell. Another character that creeps me out is the older, sickly sister from Pet Cemetery. That would be an awesome looking doll for Halloween.

He kind of looks like chucky when he got burnt in the fireplace I think because the dolls face is round like a child’s and not narrow and masculine like Freddie’s but it came out great u are very talented

You definately ain't no sissy, Freddy is bloody terrifying. My daughter still has nightmares about seeing the movie (yeah 1 was enough for her) when she was small she's now 21 and still scared of him. Anyway the repaint was excellently done ad always, but I think this is one that I shall just admire from afar rather than try to recreate myself. Hope you have more like this to come, they are one of my favourite types of re-paints.

You can actually throw vinyl like doll heads in the oven along with polymer clay without damaging it (in any significant way, anyway) since the temperature is so low.

you can give it short hair, a face paint with male features and baggy clothes. That's the "simplest" way to do it, I believe.

depends on the original mold, and the character youre going for. You can easily use sculpting mediums to change the body shape and cut away pieces of the plastic to give more masculine features. Dollightful does really good body mods, and for overall creepier dolls you can look at Dollmotion's work

I love it when you change the dolls completely. It is mesmerizing to watch how the cute beauty queen becomes something very different. Not that I don’t enjoy the pretty dolls, but when you add fimo, gel or paperclay in the mix, magic seems to happen.

Wow, that was ambitious. He turned out really cool! I'm sure others will suggest Leatherface, Jason and Michael Myers, but I'd really like to see your take on some classic horror characters, like the Wolfman, the Mummy, Frankenstein's Monster, Bride of Frankenstein. Your work is amazing!

Great doll! I'm one of those people who really love Halloween. My roots in theater, I suppose. Anyhoo, he looks great! If it's any consolation, the actor who plays Freddy is a super nice and very sweet guy, so you don't really have to stuff the doll in a drawer later!

Have you ever heard about Baba Yaga? She's a really powerfull witch from a (Russian I guess?) tale, and I remember being scared of the illustrations I saw as a kid in a tale book, because they were soooo creepy. I think that would be great as a Halloween themed doll, so that's my suggestion!
