Actually,here in Europe,it's been sold in L'erbolario stores,not a drugstore,and for a 30€,I think it's a damn good scent.And with packaging,and presentation is what you get for that price.
I love the way Musc Ravageur reacts with body temperature, and more precisely when it’s humid. It’s a really appealing musk fragrance with animalic undertone which becomes aggressive sometimes. Unique creation. Thanks for sharing the comparison video Sir 👍👍👍💯💐💐💐
Maybe I understood wrong, but L'erbolario has it's own stores in Italy, I didn't see it in any pharmacy. They have many fragrances and they usually cost 22-32 Euros, but I never tried them. I usually use their body products, but they have lots of products from skincare, haircare, suncare and perfumes.
Hi! Thank you, Sebastian for all your beautiful videos! I like musky notes in general, but animalistic perfumes are a bit difficult for me. I tend to smell a lot of skank even when people say they smell "clean" LOL L'Erbolario is quite cheap in Italy. Their prices are in the range of 22-25 euro for 50ml and they're easy to spot in herbal shops, ven if not all shops carry the entire range. I'm not a big fan of L'Erbolario perfumes, but I enjoy Meharees on me, especially towards autumn. I heard a lot everywhere about this specific comparison and I still don't get it quite well. I enjoy a good cinnamon, anyway, just not Musc Ravageur. That works awful on my skin and it's very very heavy to the nose. Probably a chemistry thing, because it smells ok on a paper, then turn into sweaty/beastly mode on me. I can wear Meharees with no problem and it's a heavy fragrance, too, not very airy, but somehow drier than MR and not sweaty!
Iam boldly putting my hand up for being the one to bring this to light in 2011. I was visiting our family home town in Italy, it’s called Vasto. I was on holiday with my family desperate to find someone similar to MV because at the time It was being super hyped by our early you tube fragrance founders. You will find L’erbolario stores all over Italy. As mention below by another sub , these stores can be found all over Italy. And yes they do some similar fragrances but on this occasion it was a coincidence that it smells similar to MR .I Remember telling everyone that I could on RU-vid about this discovery, I was floored with my luck. It cost about 20 eur for 50 ml. It’s great for the price but it is weaker than MV and lacking a little compared to MV. I still love it. Great work Sebastian.
Cool I have to check Meharees out. L'Erbolario is not exactly a drug store or farmacy brand. I'm not sure what it is called in English, but it's like a famous herb shop in Italy. Their products are sold only in their shops and other herb stores. It's a mix of herbs and natural cosmetic brand that also does some fragrances. When everything is normal again and you go to Italy just search on Google Maps l'erbolario and you will definitely find something close to you for sure 😉

For those looking for L’Erbolario, there are a number of stores (same name) which have a wide range of beauty products (mostly skincare) and fragrances. I found one in one of the Metro stations (Centrale FS) while in Milan.

@@dasjazz09 original musk by kiels is very clean and soapy musk so i doubt mixing it with meharees will produce dirty, sexy, slightly animalic type of musk found in m. ravageur
just clicked on the vid, but having tried them both at the same time and on separate occasions I believe the dry down to be practically identical, L'erbolario's has a more chemical sweetness in its vanilla and a bit more cinnamon on my skin, but besides that the dry down is identical, I even confused one for the other as did various people I showed it to. The rest of the fragrance isn't as similar as the dry down. longevity for the price on erbolario is great
to me the musk is quite present in the erbolario's and it's similar to F.M.'s...so I do disagree a bit, it is definitely less animalic and present but it's totally there and does it's job.
You can get it from Florida from the one retailer that sells Meheres.. It still costs about the same price.. I believe I paid around $50 for the bottle...you can find the info on the companies site and it will tell you where to buy it in each country.. I have bought two bottles from them.
Years ago when I first looked into Meharees the selling point was for those who love Musc Ravaguer but hate the musk. Sounds just like what you said but different. I'll stick with the Malle now that my nose has matured a bit!
Funny that you have not mentioned the cloves that are missing in Meharees. I totaly picked them up in my Musc Ravageur decant and miss them much more then the Musk 😂 Elixirs of Eden „Dark Musk“ by the way is very heavy on the cinnamon.
Love Musc Ravageur! Just purchased my first 100ml bottle a month ago and have gone thru 20ml already so bought a backup. Have the hair and body oil which lacks the muskiness of the fragrance so I’m curious if Meharees is similar to the MR oil. I have Meharees on order and just waiting on delivery so we’ll see!
my surprise was similar to musc r. the scent from yohji yamamoto "I'm not going to disturb you" (for woman). Wondering because of notes, which I don't smell. I smell very similar to my lovely musc ravageur.
60$ including 20$ shipping for 50ml, ok..But in my opinion 100ml is 100$ not 120$, because you don't pay shipping double 😏 So...~1$ per ml is a good price for Meharees 🤷🏻♂️ In Germany you pay 38€ shipped for 50ml.😀👍🏼 But it's a good idea to layer it with Kiehl's Musk...must try it 😏👌🏼
I bought meharees yeaars ago because i was too poor to buy musc ravegeur. It’s a nice dupe but def a gourmant and a bit thinner? Musc Ravageur is just incomparable as a musk fragrance.
I actually don't like either of these compared to Grand Soir. I feel like neither hold a candle. MR is a bit old lady, and Meharees smells like lemon cake.
Meharees smells sooo goood of beeswax. Are you sure that you know what musk is?? There is also no musk to find in musc ravageur. Maybe something that you think its musk
