Today we bring back to life an old schwinn scooter, except this time it will have a small 2 stroke motor instead of the old electric motor! This motor comes from the Chinese bicycle kits, but It has been modified, an has a potential of 10+hp with some mods and cylinder work.

I live in Hungary (Central Europe) and a lot of old people get around on older 32cc models. Without license, of course, so it's kind of illegal, but so many old people do it the cops don't give a shit. As long as you ride on the side of the road and slower than 30km/h they just pass you. I too have a 66cc 2 stroke motorized bike, wich is heavily modded and custom, and has a 6 speed shifter. Still building it!

Dude! Never weld in a t-shirt... You're gonna get skin cancer from the radiatiorn of the arc. Always cover yourself completely, so no skin gets exposed! It's really, really serious!

Love it, but not 10Hp. These motors come with about 2.5 from the factory. With the expansion exhaust and high compression race head, you can get them to about 4hp. With some EXTENSIVE porting, a reed valve, a mikuni carb, and a case intake (which this does not have), you would be very lucky to get 7-8 hp. 10hp is possible on 50cc engines, some have managed 20hp out of 50cc (check out 2stroke stuffing, an awesome channel). But 10hp on these motors is very difficult as the platform is just not great. Regardless, love the channel man. Cheers from CA

What do you use to notch your tubing? I love your projects man. This reminds me of a scooter i put a chainsaw motor on a few months ago, it is scary fast acceleration wise lol. Just about finished with my racing mower now. Keep up these builds!

Vasily if you want to increase view count you should work on seo if possible. I'm not selling that but just saying cuz I type in 2 stroke 250cc standup scooter and as far as I know yours is the only one ever made yet it doesn't show in the drop down

Are u gbing any away??? Were are u from im from fla i hv a swinn occ chopper bike and the motor kit gut im not handy enough to put it all together and hv it run good. So if your not too far and want to mk some money ill pay u to install it. But i hv to find a paint guy first i want to change the color of bike and rims. SHOP234841 first things first if it’s pulley driven than you can go pick up a smaller pulley for the rear axel and that’ll give you more top end or vice versa for more torque. While your at it it’s a good idea to go ahead and remove the governor. It would really help to know what kinda mower were working with. Best of luck!

Is the motor you have right now horizontal or vertical shaft. Either way it’s a simple modification to switch shaft orientation. Really just plugging a few hole and changing the pickup

Thats like a 4 hp engine, no way its 10 thats BS. You’d be lucky to do 20mph with it. Itll lug and burn up that clutch with the sprocket thats on it too.
