Bro I have watched hundreds and hundreds it feels like of bench videos and this one was by far the most informative and really helped me understand what I need to be doing and I am very excited to start training like this so thank you very much!
So... you go linear progression until they cant add weight.... then you add weight, see where they are at, which is a deload. Drop the weight 5 to 7 kilos, and start again? Am I understanding that correctly? right now, you and I are training very similar, but I am training someone, and he won't listen to me. I wonder if I show him this, he might listen to you.
More or less - 3, 4 weeks so 7.5kg - 10kg drop if it was 2.5kg each week. As you get stronger things change. I do more 3 x 3 as it works better for me at this stage of lifting in the off season

In pounds I lose 2 reps per extra 10 pounds. 55kg is 125 pounds/8 reps, 135/6, 145/4, 155/2. You max is 155 pounds, 70kg. You are not in 100kg range for another year. You just might make it in 8 months. For me, every 4 months I jump up 30 pounds, so would be around 215 in 8 more months.
