Glad to see you back on the road again. I think these are the kind of videos you guys should be posting. Informative and interesting. We really enjoyed your videos in the beginning of your journey but then we lost interest once you guys started the long live vlogs. You guys know how to make good videos so stick with it, 😆. Have a safe trip to Baja and keep smiling😁
👍🤩💝 Awesome beach camping finds. ❓I don’t think you guys post in real time, so I’m wondering what time of year was it? 👍Thank you for sharing your journey. Safe travels. 💝
We'll never forget that ferry ride because it was FREE! We ended up beach camping on Bolivar Beach and rode or bikes back across the ferry into Galveston. Good primer for Baja beach camping.
Currently in Corpus Christi and will be heading east along the coast. Will follow your stops going in the opposite direction. Another great video. Salut
Glad to see you two are back on the road. We have enjoyed your videos for a long time now. I enjoyed seeing the ferry over to Galveston as it brought back memories to our motorhome trip across the southern US from Pensacola to San Diego back in 2020. Look forward to seeing more of your adventures.
OMG I have missed the TME type videos! I so enjoyed them. Being as how we had to sell our camper last year (life changes when you are seniors so quick) this video brought me so much joy! Your videos are the BEST! Hope you continue to travel and post! Thanks for making my day!
Lived just off the Brazos river right where the tide hits the fresh water. Never swim in that area. It will take you under in a heartbeat. Safe travels and happy trails out there.
I’m glad you mentioned Seaside, I just went there a few months ago, pretty beach, great if you hate walking across blistering hot, soft sand to get to the waters edge. My husband is handicapped, requiring forearm crutches, and we love being able to park on the packed sand in Corpus Christi and Port Aransas as well.
I’m so glad to see you both again Looks so fun. I’m Headed from Houston to Saint Augustine Florida and I believe I’m gonna drive your route and hit Rutherford beach and Magnolia Beach. My husband I camped Aransas Pass 20 yrs ago and loved it. Drive careful, have fun and God Bless.
Greetings from South Africa! So happy to have you back on the road again. We can't wait to travel with you to all the interesting places. Happy travels Fredi & Mirka
Hi Fredi and Mirka! We are only back on the road as far as making the trip to Baja Mexico. When I figure out what I'm going to do when I grow up, I'll let ya know! Safe travels!
Miss you guys. I'll be heading back to Florida this weekend, just for the weekend. Done here in Alabama in about 4 weeks. Then the hunt is on for an RV to do the trip to Los Barillas. Free camping is indeed the best camping, but Free Beach camping, that's over the top.
Love riding the ferry that you went on. At one time I would drive down there just to ride the ferry and back as it was fun. Then go and spend time on the beach before going back home. It's a rainy/cloudy day so enjoyed watching this. Great being able to see y'all and hope all is going well. Stay safe.
Oh wow! Looks like you’re heading back to Rockport. That’s when I first started following you guys 5 or 6 six years ago. Hurricane Harvey destroyed that poor little town. Although I think they did install a new giant crab. When we were there it was just two poles sticking out of the ground. I would love to go back there. The ferry to Port Aransas leaves from Aransas Pass. Safe travels!
Free beach camping, that is so awesome, we are heading out that way to visit our kids at the end of April. I going to right down all theses beaches and try my best to camp at them before heading out to New Orleans, Tennessee and Florida. Lol 😂 how do you find these free camping spots?
A lot of times we look at Google maps and try to find roads that end at a remote beach and just drive. Sometimes it's word of mouth and other times it's various apps like iOverlander, Campendium and Allstays. Safe travels!
@@LifeWithPaulLorena thanks for the reply back , I use all of them I’m just not that good at it. I really like the fact that you are kind enough to give Google maps coordinates in your description, thank you so much for that 😎 Enjoy your travels and be safe.
You missed Holy Beach in TX. Thats free. Also Crystal Beach near the Ferry boat is $ 10 bucks for a 30 day sticker. when i was there i ran out of water and went to the fire dept and they gave me free tank of water
We only have to dump and refill about every 10-14 days. We had dumped in New Orleans and didn't have to dump and refill again until San Antonio. One of the benefits of a compost toilet.
Hey Guys, how do you take plants into Baja and bring them back. They made me throw away my plants coming back into the U.S. Sad sense one was from my mother's funeral 25 yrs ago and one from my brother's funeral 5 years ago. I crossed at Mexicali both ways. Don
Hi Don, we have never had them take plants and we've crossed US-Canada-US-Mexico-US. That is really sad. We've had them sitting on the dash and they never batted an eyelash. All of that stuff is so random. Unfortunately, it depends on the mood of the border agent sometimes. Mexicali is a good spot to cross for sure!
Paul, What is going on with the property in Mexico? The last time I saw ya'll, you were headed down there..... then I lost track of you. Do you currently have a destination, or are ya'll just driving? Hope you and your family are doing well.
In my opinion Jeff, the price of gas changes way too much for that to be helpful. It's why we rarely mention prices on anything. Prices change and it's an easy Google search.
