It’s (press-kit) if you are a local, I really miss living there and this video has brought me so much joy. I could recognize where you were on the trail by the potholes I’ve driven that path so many times. Further up you drive along a cliffs edge that over looks skull valley and if you keep going you hit a weird 4-way stop in the middle of the woods where you can turn left and head back to town going down copper basin. Oh I wish I was there to show you all the cool spots I’ve found exploring those trails over the years. I wish you all the best.
Hi Chantelle, If you are still somewhat close to Prescott, may I recommend: Saturday is the Prescott Valley Days parade- ALWAYS a lot of fun (and free). Most Saturdays mornings in front of the Pruitts Furniture from 8am -2pm you'll see a Semi in the parking lot, handing out Fresh food boxes and Fresh Veggies (including milk, and other goodies often with doggie treats) they pass them out for free, no questions or limits... and for camping that is great, head up Hwy 89A towards Jerome, and when you reach the top of Mingus Mtn, there is a camping area called Potato Patch, run by the Forestry Service. The lower campground has about 15 or so spaces (with electric) but they're usually taken, but the upper campground is more beautiful, in my opinion. There are restroom facilities, and lots of stunning camping spots and is also FS managed, plus there are enough neighbors to feel safe, yet your privacy isn't invaded. Make sure the pup doesn't take any adventures at night without you, because there are some big owls up there. Anyways, hope you enjoy our little slice of heaven!
I lived in Prescott for 18 years. Just retired and am full-time RV'r with boyfriend (Prescottonian 26 yrs), for 10 months now. Prescott is an awesome community. It was time for us to leave to find new cool, little towns. Glad you visited and enjoyed our town 🧡.
I love Joey, he looks so much like my little dog, except his underbite which makes him even more adorable and mine won't go near the water, I love how joey goes right to it. Safe travels
Hi Chantelle & Joey! I’m having coffee with you both on this beautiful Sunday morning. Thank you for always bringing an extra little slice of peace and tranquillity to my day 🌨
Beautiful shots of the snow on the brown leafs . I love that elevation, It:s the conifer forest thats so cool in arizona. It:s a mixture of Oaks, pinion pine, ponderosa pine , so many species of differant trees and plants all together. The more i watch your channel ,the tougher i see you are. Thats cold weather to be camping in a van. You will love Sedona , .
Hi I'm from Prescott spent my first 50 years there raised all my kids there and I moved to Tennessee a couple years ago but I enjoyed your video I knew everywhere you were without your narration ! I enjoyed this and im glad you loved Prescott
@@mimi7914 sure what would you like to know specifically ? Things are cheaper in TN like homes , land, groceries , gas ECT. Prescott has a full season change where Tennessee is warmer and milder .
Joey is the sweetest...walking around wagging his little tail all the time. He has to be the best travel companion ever. And another great video Chantelle! Good job! 😍😍😍
I cant adequately express how much I am enjoying travelling along with you on your journey via your videos......thanks so much for all of your efforts and great work. Cant wait to see Sedona too! Hi Joey, you cute little munchkin....safe travels....
You ROCK!! Thank You so very much for taking us on Your Journey with You & Joey .. You are so talented .. There is much love for You & Joey here .. Rock On !! ✌😎
Wow, what a beautiful day! I'm a baby about the cold, you're better than me for being out there in it but I'm so glad you and Joey had fun! As always, thanks for sharing your adventures with us 💕
Omg this video made it to the top of the list. My friend moved to Prescott a couple of years ago and she often post her hikes on FB and they are amazing views. Love that Joey was able to be off leash. This definitely is his playground 🐾 Stay safe!
I know there is lag time between the places you visit and the actual posting. But, I just wanted to say you will love Sedona. Such a spiritual town. Shops are fab, scenery is gorgeous. Water is still too cold for Slide Rock though. Thanks for the great content.
Glad you had a nice visit and enjoyed Prescott. (Pronounced Preskit like Biscuit). I visited recently and I'm sour grapes. After once living there 20+ years ago, to me it felt like it has totally become an outgrowth of Phoenix...dominated by retirees, development, tons of traffic, *nobody* riding bikes in town, people waving Trump signs in the Square (in Fall 2021), and just a feeling of "where is the love?". The most evident outdoors people were blasting around in 4x4s and side-by-side OHV's. And careful where you look for a campsite...locals use their Nat'l Forest as a free shooting range in many places.
This has been one of your best videos I enjoyed every second of it as an Illinois girl I get why you love the weather there and the scenery it is absolutely gorgeous keep it up girlfriend you inspire me for my own minivan journey
Pronounced Preskitt ❣️thanks for coming to my hometown. Bill's Pizza 🍕 is the best! Glad you were able to show the Bronze Statue at the Roundabout for Phippen Museum, a bronze statue by Bill Nebeker, local artist. Hope you could enjoy Granite dells driving in, the view we could see in the video didn't do it justice. You didn't get any video of our lakes. They are recommended stops, free on Wednesdays. Good shots of downtown around the court house plaza and surrounding businesses and of Thumbutte. Sorry about the ruff roads, that happens with snow and rain on dirt roads. 🌨️❄️
Haha, it is Prescott - yes, like biscuit! However, it is a hotly debated topic at all times. Beautiful camping spot, btw. Next time you come, if it is too cold, just come off the hill and go to a lower elevation. It is crazy how just a couple hundred feet makes a difference. I hope you were able to take advantage of all the vegan options here! Love the videos! I will be curious to see if you go over the mountain on 89a and go through Jerome on your way to Sedona.
We met a very nice police officer while overnighting behind the closed Sam's Club in Prescott. He stopped to tell us we couldn't stay there, and ended up having coffee with us and a nice chat. lol! He said it was Pres-citt Like biscuit.. He tols us all about the beggars on the street corners and how they really lived. The guy on the corner by the Cracker barrel actually did not have cancer like his signed stated, and he had a very nice car parked around the corner form where he was begging, waiting to take him home to his nice house. Lol! Cons. We did love Prescott and plan to head back there this year. Might have to check out your mountain view spot if my Toyota Motorhome can make it up that road. Happy trails!
Good morning, looked beautiful but a lil chilly. Been in the 80's this week in Sweet Home, Or. The lil motorcycle whizzing thru was unexpected! Made me laugh out loud.😳😀😂Take care.Have fun.Stay safe.😍
I'm glad you found this wonderful spot. Just a word of caution: avoid announcing where you currently are or where you plan to go next. Let it be a surprise to your viewers. Safe travels.
I really appreciate you filming your trips, especially when entering the campground. Most just show video of when they get there. Lets me know if I want to go there, the road in on this one was challenging.
I love your videos so much! Wherever I am having a bad PTSD day, I put on your videos and your voice and music and your chipper spirit automatically make me feel better. Thanks so much for being so awesome and for sharing your travels with us.
Quite a blissful spot....I could easily imagine myself there. I can’t wait to see Sedona thru your eyes too. You’re living in my favorite spots of the world!
Very cool video! My wife and I just spent 9 days in flagstaff and LOVED it. It snowed on us there on April 27th and was so pretty. The snow melted fast. So many cool things to see in that part of Arizona!
I have a house southeast of Prescott Valley, out in the scrub and hills - in Dewey-Humboldt, off of Hwy 69. It's a short drive for me to the Prescott National Forest. This whole area is beautiful - your snow footage!!! Glad you enjoyed your time here...Joey obviously enjoyed exploring, so cute!
Wow Joey is really tearing it up out there ! Must be a blessed spot.. You seemed energized ad well ..must be a great feeling beauty, fresh air, choices.Enjoy you journey young one
I've only driven through Prescott so I wasn't really able to see what you showed in the video. SO beautiful!!! WOW! I enjoy your videos so much, you keep it simple which is so nice, and you seem like the kindest person. Much love to you and Joey on your travels!
I’m not vegan but I’m always so happy for you when you find a great selection! Looks beautiful, I’ll add to my list of places to go. Thank you, happy travels.

Loved this video, photography was great and how pretty the area was! wow. You are such a good Mom to Joey, letting him wander around the area before you had your morning coffee! That is Love.
Hey Chantelle! Hey to Joey also, give him a cuddle from me! Seems like Joey likes cooler weathers bit better. Idk. Yesterday (Sat.) we spent moving from Mesquite, NV up to Roy, UT. That’s just north of SLC. We’ve lived here before when our children were small. Now they are grown and gone out into the world. But like you, I miss the warmer weather. It’s about ten to fifteen degrees lower here right now and we were used to warmer now. Good thing is we get to see the flowers and trees bloom again up here! That’s cool. Okay, dear, stay warm and safe out there!! Seeing all these beautiful places is just the best! Have fun my dear!! ❤️💜💚

This makes me so homesick, I lived there for several years until 2020 and Covid. Prescott is such a lovely little town with so many sweet people, thank you for showing it and its cute-ness
hola from canada, i sometimes wish i could miss out on the snow + cold winters as well. kinda wish we had diverse weather systems & climates up here. I would 100% drive 30 hours to get somewhere warm within our own country - we wanted to drive to Mexico this year but the world had other plans lol. the city of Prescott truly looks beautiful! hope you're having a wonderful day!
I lived there for 15 years. It’s a beautiful place. Thank you for sharing. You do a fantastic job with your videos. I am currently camping in Flagstaff and it is cold.
