Free Cardboard Box Garden  

One of my new best gardening families, I will certainly spread the the love about this channel on other gardening channels!!!

My Cayenne Peppers are all long and green and my plant is loaded…I mean loaded. I’m waiting for them to turn red. Very excited! I’m going to dehydrate and grind up to use as the spice…😀

I don’t spray my Banana Peppers or Green Peppers either. They grew beautifully….beautifully enough for someone to come in my fenced in backyard and clean me out! I’m so hurt…they left me barely nothing.

Yes I’m growing some now.. for first time, they are delicious! Did you know you can over winter your peppers in your garage and use same plants next year. I did this last year and out of 7 plants 5 made it and have been growing peppers all year…. Tip of the day back to you!

Beautiful peppers! We grew some onions and garlic in cardboard boxes this year. They worked very well. After we finished with them we threw the old boxes that were melting down by then, into our compost. Thanks for sharing your garden with us! Blessings!

Love the peppers. I also like trying new ones. I grew sugar rush peach this year. Im am going to make pepper and peach salsa. I laughed so hard when you said to wear gloves or be careful where you touch. I was waiting for you to say which parts not to touch because I definitely know. 😂😂😂😂

You can use onion, garlic, and other pungent seasoning and chilli pepper add vinegar. Blend them add water and vinegar, strain and bottle spray at least once a week.

This was an excellent video! You may be able to move some of your in-ground veggies to your new location if you treat them like trees. Dig out as much of their soil as you can and put the plant in a pot or a _wet burlap sack_ and either plant them back as soon as possible or transfer the 'bagged ones' into a pot so that while your planning and preparing your new garden space you still have food growing. Everything now in a container that's not 'done for the season' can be moved to your new home.

I think next year I need to amend the soil my pepper plants are in because they kinda stayed small and never put much out. I got a few peppers, but nothing like you are getting. I think maybe I need more peat moss and other things that will make the soil more fluffy, because I have really heavy grey/ brown northern midwest soil, and I think that they just struggled to expand their roots.

Obviously you are not in se Colorado! Swarms of grasshoppers are locusts. I have locusts!! Can’t grow anything here, without chemicals. I refuse to use them. I did just start sevin dust. But no luck with that yet.

I just planted a jalapeno plant, I've never heard of a lemon jalapeno plant it looks good.

I believe it I saw it years ago when they first did it cardboard box's in every types of shapes and sizes Styrofoam boxes and cooler paper trash bags plastic trash small grocery plastic bags bags nap sacks fabric and plastic shopping bags name it seen every type of container gardening there is and that's a start haven't mention about container gardening from plastic no matter sizes there are even seen a small pill bottle growing something in it seen all this I just mentioned seen 30 plus years ago now container gardening sky's the limit now including garden with recyclable items from refrigerators , freezers dumpsters gutted air conditions gutted electrical boxes house gutters ect , ect , recyclable gardeners they don't play they are Masters at it vegetable gardens and flower gardens . There are homemade that you can make naturally organically you can use on your vegetables for insects chemical-free . As far as soil manure mulch etc etc you can get all that for free just by calling around look it up to different organizations and businesses that are tied up to gardening just the other day just seen a company that we're cutting down trees breaking it down into mulch I called that company said I needed mulch for this community Urban gardening organization they asked how much they needed they bought two truckloads for free

Being in the UK, with a temperate zone 8, growing peppers outside can be a challenge, but shishito always do amazing for me, and we love them pickled. I keep debating the Lemon Drop when buying seeds. What's its heat scale?

Where do you purchase your seeds? I haven't heard of some of them and would like to purchase.
