It's true - the complimentary dining does have variety on Prima class. I also steer clear of the buffet when I can help it. It still boggles my mind that that's where 80% of the passengers head basically all of the time. When people ask me "what's so great about NCL" I usually point to the value in the Free at Sea pack that you get. But variety in complimentary dining is a good answer too.
I agree in regard to buffet dining. I'm on vacation so I'd much rather relax and be served freshly cooked food. We're cruising Celebrity for the first time in a few days which will different since the only complimentary food is main dining rooms and the buffet.

You do not have to go to the specialists restaurant. The complementary restaurants was great. I went to the Buffet one time its was Good. I agree with you go to the other restaurant.
I'm booked on Prima next year and I'm really looking forward to the Indulge Food Hall. My only other NCL ship was the Sun and the lack of complimentary food options was a real disappointment.
I agree! We were on the Sun last year as well and one major disappointment was the sports bar was not The Local and therefore did not serve food. Plus the buffet is very small.
@@jdantes1 many Ncl so platinum Think Prima will be good. Made ship for small ports so more ports in play Iceland is 40-50f in summer thank god added heat lamps as 1/2 seating outside Viva looks identical to prima think Aqua another clone.
Ncl has good included food Best is main dinning But even buffet works Fast convenient Yes special dinning very good Sorry local is bar food Not as good
