Wow, what a major finding! This was was also on my radar for a very long time. I've gained so many stellar plug-ins for mixing for free over years. All I'm missing is talent. 🙂
Nice plugin and thanks for sharing! But I don't want to install the whole T-Racks for just 1 new plugin, I mean I could just keep using my black box analog HG-2(plugin) for doing all the things I need so far. Well I'd finished the survey to get the access by the way, lol. Maybe one day I'm going to use it.😂
I'm not sure if I would use this plugin in mastering but if I do, i would use it very subtle, like 1-2 db of gain reduction without all the coloration possible, with slowest attack & fastest release to preserve all the details. Thanks for the comment, I'll see if I can make a tutorial :)
on catalina, i get a graphic's error on all of the plugins from this company after install. tried 4 different times - emailed company and ain't heard back. anybody know anything that could help me?
Excellent work as always. I would just like to report an annoying bug that I have encountered and which I have also had confirmed on the IK forums: the lack of plugin presets, which seems to be a problem related to Mac users with Logic and Ableton I've followed the instructions to try to solve this problem, but the presets are still unavailable.
@@AmnerHunter I've sent a mail to IK Multimedia and they've been very kind and quick in the answer. They've sent me a zip file with all the Comperxxor preset. This is useful for sure for all the users who have the same problem.
@@AmnerHunter as always I think that everything depends by the way you approach to someone. If you write to IK or any other company in a polite way, you'll have more chances to have a quick reply and the best solution to solve your problem. If you do the opposite, maybe the mail will go into the trashcan.
Thank You soooo much!!! I have been looking for a Distressor Plugin for months and being the cheap bastard that I am had not bought one yet. Just put the comprexxor on some tracks I'm working on and WOW! Thanks again!
hi thanks for the link, but it is not clear for me how to set the threshold e wich is the difference with o without the "band" button (top left window)
you don't need to set a threshold, with the input knob you feed the compressor with the signal and it starts compressing based on that, the attach and ther settings. that's how this compresssors work.
i'm not sure if it's standalone, as far as I know it's only a vst, you can use it inside your daw, you don't need any other t-racks software to use it.
Not, if you have the license key. However, they have this bad habit of installing every T-Rack product on your system. I tend to go in and manually delete each unusable plugin off of my system. I guess they assume that you are gonna buy shit.
The other plugins installed of the t-racks pack are demos only, you can delete them and leave just the comprexxor, it will never expire once you have it.
it depends on your PC my laptop always installs 3rd party plugins with no presets but my desktop installs everything...wierd I have this issue with brainworx plugins so what I do is literally go to the preset on my desktop and screenshot it and copy the settings on my laptop and save the preset
While it's not free anymore, it wasn't really free back then either as you had to open wide and swallow a lot of c-rap for it to even work. That kind of free is roophie injection.
@@bronxboys101 Yup you are verry important person and the information you give about your studio and monitor speakers is so secret for everyone and they are making this giveaway to steal your sause
If you would pay attention, read & see the actual video you will notice the freebie was available for a limited time til some days ago, nor click bait nor misleading, you missed the promotion that's all.
@@AmnerHunter Thats not in the title so there for it seems like its free...obviously its misleading. There's no date or anything so wtf are you talking about..?
