**DISCLAIMER** I am allowed to my opinion. It may not match yours, no need for harassment. I started editing in late 2016 and I posted my edits on youtube since Creator Studio wasn't a thing then so I could download them to my phone. Honestly, the editing community has grown so much! I loved being a part of this community for 5-6 whole years! Wow that's crazy. I've had so many instagram idols follow me and I've enjoyed my time as an editor. I'm glad that nowadays youtube has become a sort of place where people can learn many different kinds of tutorials and have access to tips they wouldn't normally get without asking! I used to feel so embarrassed asking for help haha. I hardly ever edit nowadays, but there's something that doesn't sit well with me about the community now. It feels like every edit I watch is the same.. What do I mean by that? I've noticed many kinds of these after effects tutorials pop up in my feed and I've even saved a few with some nice transition ideas so I can come back to them if I edit something. But I've also noticed there being many of these editing packs too. Not that I'm against it at all! If there's resources out here like this, you should definitely use them to the fullest! But as I say fullest, I haven't noticed editors using it to the fullest. KEEP THIS IN MIND. I'm not saying there are editors out there that DON'T use it to the fullest. I'm sure there are! But frankly, scrolling on instagram has made me quite bored. I see a lot of the same CCs that make the edit look super crisp, but they always look the same. I also see a TON of the same looking position shakes and its wayy too bouncy in my opinion. But that may just be my harsh opinion on it since I love using shakes. I've had tons of fun experimenting with S_Shake, Twitch, and even Expression shakes! Coding isn't my strong suit, but I've definitely gotten the hang of it for some nice expression shakes. Anyways, the whole point of me typing this out isn't to rant about how boring I think the community may be now. If you read everything awesome!! Kudos to you! My main point with typing this out at 2 in the morning is really just to spread the idea that: If you download this pack or any pack at all. Try to understand how the shakes/CC/glitches work and build off of it! There's tons of different effects you can layer on top of one another and there's many different kinds of blending options and even Toggle switches/modes you can mess around with! I never use youtube, so if you do reply to this comment I probably won't see it till a few days later, but yes experiment peeps! Its a lengthy process I know, but once you understand it, just imagine the things you'll be able to create on your own! Love y'all!!
