In this English lesson I will help you learn how to describe the things you do with things. I know this sounds like a strange topic, but the other day I ejected a DVD from a DVD player and then later in the day I crumpled up a piece of paper. I thought, I should teach these words, so in this free English class I will!
In this English lesson you'll learn words and phrases like: extend, collapse, crumple, eject, stack, rearrange, insert, prop up, take down, unfurl, box up, plunge, measure and many more!
I hope you enjoy this English lesson about describing using things. Have a good day!
⌛ Remember: Always watch the video three times. Twice today with English subtitles on, and once tomorrow with the English subtitles off. This will reinforce the English you have learned!

My example on the topic. *Sometimes you need to tighten your belt and wait for better times.* It's about being frugal.

Thank you Sir for this useful lesson. Long awaited topic, infact I am glad to know the topic. Coincidentally last week only I had suggested for such type of topic in comments on your last week's video and it did happen 😊. I got to know many specific words or phrases to explain / describe the action involved using different items like prop up, crank, unfurl, retract and so on ......... Need to watch again. Thank you once again

Hi Bob! Thank you for your lessons! It's extremely helpful! great job! May I ask you, please? Could you recommend some RU-vid French lessons as you have, for newcomers in Canada? I know that French language in Canada is a bit different from French language in Europe) Thank you!
