this is very useful class for me during the day i listing , learning extreme vary, strange phrases, word and make my life very easy but the problem i have English is not my native language when i face with any sort of words i remember what dose it mean but i my self during the conversation could not remember how and what words shall i use.

Bob, the best way to put out a sliver is to first dust the spot with some talcum or baby powder. That's the way we've always done it. Good luck!
