Wow yeah i always wonder how some places sustain life and fertility but never thought deep enough to the details about the Native grasslands. Definitely interesting and makes total sense. It does illustrate the point that everything is connected and has its roles in our ecosystem.
You touch on how the mycorrhizae extend the reach of the grass' roots, but it's worth pointing out that many if not most native grasses are capable of much, much more extensive root systems than your normal introduced turf grasses.
Does atmospheric nitrogen travel down thru the hollow stem of a legume and perhaps eastern gamma to get to the bacteria that is feeding on the root exudates or does it travel thru the soil aggregate structure to get there ?
If you visit our website, you can switch to table view, filter by grasses, and view all and it will give you a nice list of everything we carry (with light requirements, soil preference, etc.) hamiltonnativeoutpost.com/shop-table/
I'm sorry to hear that! We are definitely not experts but some things to check would be that it's not muted, and that your volume is adjusted properly and checking any cords between the computer and speakers to make sure there's not an issue. It does seem to be working for others.
