If anyone was having trouble uploading any title packs or templates, the folder names are case sensitive, so make sure all the folder you create are capitalized "Titles" instead of "titles" otherwise it won't work! Hope this helps, took me forever to figure out what I was doing wrong!
It’s not working for me. It’ll show up in final cut but once u try to use the templates from that site, my whole app freezes. It works just fine each time I remove the opener from the timeline 🥲
Had to go upload an older version of final cut pro, that's the only one working, even that, everytime i shutdown the app, it won't open again except i run it again
To those didn't work, you need to make sure what is the plugin's extension then put the plugin folder into related folder. Example, in this video, the tiles plugin extension is .moti, so Bryan create "Titles" folder for it. In my case, my plugin extension is .motn, so I put the plugin into "Generators" folder. If you're not sure which extension in which folder, just ask google. Hope this help!
To those of you who wondering why it didnt showed up on FCP. I made the 'motion templates.localized' folder without noticing that I already have it on the movies folder. hence why it didnt work out for me. so I deleted the ones I made and just use the ones already there. and proceed to do the rest of the instructions. it worked. Thanks Bryan.

Just discovered I could do this, video after video. But kept coming to problems then figuring out how to fix them. This is my first MacBook and learning how to do it and you showing how to create the folders changed the game for me. Thank you for explaining that little detail!

Mine is NOT working! Everytime I add the localized tail to my folder name, for some reason it disappears. My final Cut Pro can't find the effect anywhere in my software.

You have to make sure which one are you downloading because it happened to me too but then I realized that there are some of them as transition and some as title.
Hey, hopefully somebody will see this. I did everything that I was supposed to do, and for some reason it doesn't show up. I've done reinstalls, I've closed and re opened FCP several times, but nothing shows up, what do you suggest I do?
Same. added the folders, checked the spelling, I updated. Reinstalled, updated, restarted. No idea what I could be doing wrong. Other than being me and I'm always a stupid failure.
Awesome video! Thanks so much! The titles worked great but I have a slight problem with the transitions I downloaded. The files are different than my other transition files (they say exec) and FC can't read them. And even though I named them properly they go in the Custom folder when i open transitions in FC and then don't work...Anyone else having this problem?
Hi Bryan, helpful video; direct easy to understand. It helped me get some great things going. Only templates I can't get to be recognized are the audio visualizers.... regardless of which folder I put them in, Final Cut doesn't see them. I'm thinking maybe I need to create a new folder but don't know what to call it. Thanks in advance if ya see this and have an answer, and thanks for the video, truly helpful
I've tried to put the Wet Ink Opener transition into the transitions.localized but it doesn't appear in the transitions effect in my FCPX. Could you help?
