There's a tracker to how many packs you open in a collection event if that event is ended how is it gonna track you actually bought all 24 packs you see what I mean you might be bought 24 but the tracker for the heirloom pack doesn't register because it's not there so it's not an EA moment at all your failing to realize that one crucial detail

It actually worked, because i got revenant's prestige heirloom and then i opened up about 100 apex packs that i saved up from a long time ago then i actually got an heirloom shard with in 40 apex packs. So the pity doesn't really reset after a collection event.
If you buy 24 event packs for $160 for a promised free heirloom. I dont care if its years after you decide to open them, you should still get that promised heirloom. They should fix this.
Guys, if u haven’t spend any money and still waiting for the shards from leveling up. Don’t stop believing cuz the Apex Gods will give it to u cuz I just recently got one at prestige 304 for free🙏🏽🙏🏽. So, it’s possible to get those shards for free. Just gotta keep on leveling up and play more until u get it 👏.
Imagine the event had the skin and heirloom on your main, tell me you waited and opened it a minute later after expiration. Also, i would've opened the last pack and saved the heirlooms for my mains skin etc.
What he doesn't tell you is that you get the heirloom the moment you buy all 24 packs and that the heirloom itself isn't actually in one of the collection event packs
I’ve done this before cause I also wanted to know I opened all 24 and in the side if you don’t go to the event page you’ll have a 25th pack but if you do go to the page it’ll open automatically
I bought all the Iron Crown items back in the day, and then they wanted another $30 for the Bloodhound axe. I decided right then that I would never do that BS again.
For all those wondering, this isn't a scam or anything like what a lot of these comments are saying. It tells you that it's only available during the event, follow basic directions or don't purchase the packs. Your choice. If its "too expensive" don't buy them or save up crafting metals.
And yet EA is still going to give 0 updates for a game that in their eyes is “dying” not like any game EA collabs with doesnt die because of the ridiculous in game purchases or it thrives because the ingame purchases are so pay to win that everyone forgets about their wallets (fifa)
Even if you get heirloom shards it’s still 160 down the drain, it’s just skins in a game and they don’t do anything it’s not worth spending real money on for them; I’ve spent 0 dollars on apex and I’ve got heirloom shards I got cold steel for Bangalore and I also got the event cloud sword as well that’s universal for all characters also didn’t spend anything and that’s also supposed to be pretty damn rare. I get wanting to support the devs but we are talking about supporting EA and respond here so who cares
160$ is not just for the heirloom he got 23 skin and other items the rest is for the heirloom which in my opinion should've been a shard at the least with 50% chance.
it's kinda what streamers on Twitch generally also do with Twitch Prime subs. "if you got Amazon Prime you got a free sub waiting to be used" meanwhile i purchased prime because it was cheaper to sub that way than using an actual sub, so it wasn't "free"
@@DarkDyllonthats different way different people use prime for other stuff subbing is a perk very few use it just for subs but in this case most people buy everything for the heirloom and very few buy it for the other stuff
That's a total SCAM.. because life happens & what if you're not able to open them up by the time the event ends because of illness or other personal issues. Wow. Smh.

This just happened to me after the dressed to kill collection event. I bought it before it ended at my friends house but wanted to open it at my computer. And when I got to the last pack nothing happened. I was so mad and of course EA support can’t help you like always.
I'd be so triggered because I like saving things like that too, and so many people will blame you on behalf of the company for not following their artificial limitations that punish you for trusting them with your money and actually delaying gratification. sorry about the lost heirloom rip
See the thing is, he DID own every pack DURING the event. He waited to open the last one until after the event. So that disclaimer right there could easily be disputed and easily won, if that's the only limitation they provide
I don’t know if you’re acting stupid or actually is stupid. Ash thematic pack is from somewhere else, it’s likely the pack he saved from others event. When you open 24 collection events pack it will immediately open the 25th or heirloom pack for you.
That's just crazy, these video game companies are out of control. I'm sorry, there's no reason that skins or heirlooms should cost that much. To prove my point, look at a game like BG3 amazing game! Amazing visuals, no microtransactions and it's $80 but you're getting a whole game and these idiots want to charge $160 for a skin or an heirloom GTHOH
They should add one free heirloom refund where you refund your heirloom to heirloom shards because I got extremely lucky and got my heirloom at level 65 and I was maining revenant at the time, but I was really inexperienced and shouldn’t have been given the choice when I didn’t have a try main cuz I was low level. Now I main octane and wish desperately I could get his heirloom instead
This sadly happened to me during this chinese new years event :( Was in Ward atm so didnt open packs until after Support said too bad and to this day never got my shards for completing event :/

i would know, someone bought me the collection event for an heirloom and i opened it a few hours late and i never got the heirloom. 160 dollars wasted it was so disappointing
This actually happened to me for the original REV heirloom, didn’t open any of the event packs until after and yep you got it, NO HEIRLOOM. Obviously I contacted support and they did absolutely nothing, which is when I vowed to never spend another penny on this game ever again 😅
Well that’s your fault for not opening them. Just saying🤷♂️ I know it’s stupid how it gives you no heirloom but why wouldn’t you open it during the event anyways?
