Not a beat maker and just listen to your beats during work as a programmer but if you struggle with "beat block and low inspiration" you probably want to A make a pause to appreciate the small things that you take for granted or B listen to other things and point out what you like about them or do not and would make different.

I’ve been listening to a lot of songs I like and trying to figure out why I like them and also look at my past work and identify what it’s lacking. One thing I picked is leaving space and only doing what is necessary to make it a good enough beat for an artist to use but not boring and generic at the same time. Which isn’t an easy thing to do three times a week consistently but after enough repetition I know I will get to a point where I can do it effortlessly. Something else I’m trying to do with my music is push myself creatively and not get stuck in the same formula which comes from trying to meet an upload schedule. It’s quicker to go with what I already know how to do as opposed to pushing my self creatively which takes longer. All in all I’m trying to put out the best music I can for my audience and rappers who rely on my beats to make music so we can all win. @@KINGXMAGS I like the boom bap drums a lot. It creates cool mood right of the start. Its nothing wrong with beeing repetitive and having the same formula. After all people come back to you for a KINGXMAGS type beat. Time boxing things is great. Also having others who give (valuable) feedback. But i would not advice you to look at your past work and identify what it’s lacking too much. You could try to get inspiration from classic or cinimatic music, Afrobeat, maybe stuff like Phonk or even K-Pop. Or even experiment with weird sounds like Timbaland was doing. You do not want to cut creativity away from you but you want to pull it in, if it makes sense.
