Thank you for this webinar and being so helpful to the teachers Dr. Jasper, my test 5622 is coming up, just bought the hard copy of your book over amazon. I always used your books along my Praxis I and II journey and passed. It is time for me to pass PLT now with your very helpful tips.
@@cheriannbrownclarkhs6617 I only got the hard copy of the books but also used Khan Academy for Praxis Core. For 5001 I watched every single video of Dr Jasper which were extremly helpful and got her study guide(hard copy one).
You're very welcome! We're happy to hear that the book and video have been helpful to you. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out. Happy learning! 📚 ~Yiana Team Member at Kathleen Jasper LLC
Preparing myself for the Praxis 5453 and 5622. Overwhelmed since I am Japanese, and new to the educational field...I am doing some practice questions and watching your videos every day too. However, I am still not aware of all the names of strategies, methods, and educational terminologies. I am what you call a "Career changer" and I would like to know if there is a tool that I can use to memorize words like "Socratic questioning". etc. I hope you can help me.
It's great that you're taking steps to prepare for the Praxis exams and are dedicated to learning about educational strategies and terminology. To help you memorize terms like "Socratic questioning" and others, you can try using flashcards. Create flashcards with the term on one side and its definition or an explanation on the other side. Quizlet is a popular online platform for creating and practicing flashcards. Additionally, consider joining online study groups or forums related to the Praxis exams or education. Engaging in discussions and asking questions can also help reinforce your understanding of educational terminology. Remember, learning takes time, especially when you're transitioning into a new field. Stay persistent, and your efforts will pay off. Good luck with your Praxis exams! ~Yiana Team Member at Kathleen Jasper LLC

@@KathleenJasperEdD Thanks for your kind response! You’re such an awesome helper. I need more to review on the first and second part of the PLT exam. I did not Excel on those parts that’s why I did not get the passing grade. But I did good on the essay part because of your videos..
Hi, Dr. Jasper, I am a new brand ESOL teacher and I would like to know what is the first thing I have to do? I will start on September and I am getting ready. Thank you so mucho for you webinar.
Hi there. To figure out the steps to certification, you'll need to contact your state education department. The state sets the requirements and they vary from state to state. Good luck!
Hello Dr. Jasper. I wish I could know what I am missing. I believe I know most of the theory, but the scenarios on the selective response part are messing me up. Also no matter how hard I try to write the constructed response, I cannot get more than 3 points out 16. What should I do? Any advice? Trust me, I try to recall all you say, but I just cannot get it tight. 😪Thank you.
Do you have our online course? It is super comprehensive and goes over everything. There is also a TON of writing help in the course. You can learn more about it here: kathleenjasper.com/products/praxis-plt-online-courses If you are looking for free resources, I have a playlist just for the constructed response. ru-vid.com/group/PLBtoj0Jl2SNxcAICQe0PoXW210COwPMQq Hope that helps. Have a great day and thank you for watching.
Hi. I wonder what I have to do! I have a certified teacher from Mexico. I am working as Paraprofessional in ESOL; I would like to get my teaching certificate in Georgia. I need some help, please!!
You need to contact the Department of Education in the state you are seeking certification. On their website will be a list of requirements you need to do. www.gadoe.org/Pages/Home.aspx
