Sculpture By The Sea, A nice relaxing walk whilst viewing over 100 sculptures from artist around the world and Australia. You will find these Fantastic creations all along the coastal walk between Bondi and Tamarama Beach.
There are toilets, a small children playground and an off the leash dog park, and a snack/coffee shop at Marks Park, there you will also see quite a few sculptures.
The key is to get there early if you are planning on driving, otherwise catch public transport.
We arrived at 6:30 am expecting to catch the sunrise. There are only a few parking spots even then as most are taken up by joggers and dog walkers.
Getting there this early allows us to view the sculptures at a relaxing pace
as most parking spots are 2 hour free parking starting at 8am and after that it is metered, so we had at least 31/2 hours of free parking. The coastal walk is about 2km of concrete footpath, there are a few stairs you will need to climb, and the park is grass. Sculpture by the Sea is between 20 October - 6 November 2023, so you only have 2 days. Don't forget to wear comfy shoes and bring a bottle of water and hat and sunscreen if its a warm day. Enjoy.
