That yellowish brick building across the street is David Jones department store. I worked there for a few weeks when I lived in Australia (spending half my year in Sydney). Talking about rooftops, I'm an explorer of buildings, too, and I eventually found the way up to the roof of David Jones. Lemme just say: It's not a terrace. It's just a roof, full of HVAC machines, ducts, & pipes. But, I would go up there every day to sit on the parapet overlooking Hyde Park (which your hotel terrace overlooks, too) and eat my lunch. There was even a day I got there super early (I don't remember why) and I went up to that roof to watch the sun rise. You can also see St Mary's Cathedral in your video; on the other side of Hyde Park. I found my way into the east tower there one day and climbed up to the cathedral's roof. On a totally unrelated note: When I was little, my mother often used to have to search for me or have announcements made over store PA systems asking for anyone who found me to take me to the manager's office. lol
