I have often been a victim of those that are taken with "the group," for example in school I was bullied because people did not think I was like them, like what members of the group should be like... I always stood outside the group scratching my head at their ways... I did not want to be like them , I could not be like them

Thank you Dr Stephen Hicks. Excellent. Though I feel you underplay the very human instinct to be free and exercise free speech i.e. speaking out your understanding of something. Admittedly, informed by education and ones intellectual capacity.

I completely disagree with this laissez-faire capitalism is the savior of mankind BS. The problem with some of the right and the left, which don’t have anything really to do with social issues, is that they represent a number of different approaches to economics. All the culture war stuff is icing on the cake, but it is not the cake. I find it interesting that you have a picture of Orwell someone who has been claimed by the right and the left. Or will himself said that he was a socialist and I doubt that he would be in favor of your laissez-faire capitalism. You also seem to think that laissez-faire capitalism is fair. Pun intended. As if everybody on planet earth did not go through serfdom, peasantry, slavery, colonization, imperialism, neo, colonialism, war, pestilence, and famine. I couldn’t finish this. It’s just silly men for somebody who has almost a religious ideology of so-called liberalism, but probably should be better called neoliberalism. Someone who is not concerned with human equality or even effectiveness
