Hi Ginger Cat. It was obvious to me that Sarah needed a lot of help with this project, and you did your job, you were a huge inspiration for her. 🐱😍😂

Dear Ms. Homfray, I'm so glad to see that your Quality Control Officer is on the job today! Thank you for covering the Cross Stitch, I swear, whenever I am looking at the stamped cross stitched patterns, they get all mixed up, rather like an optical illusion.

I like the slightly wonky look to the freestyle seperate crosses
@MaidMirawyn

I came to say the same thing! ( I was even thinking “wonky”…) I like the character. Individual stitches look fun if they’re irregular, though I like a more even stitch for rows or blocks.

I love-love Ginger cat❤❤. She just wanted your attention or some loving strokes. The cross stitch is perfect for a border on my pot holder. I haven't done it very much because my lines never turn out straight. 🌈💚🙏💚🌈

Hi Sarah, thank you for your lovely informative video. When I was at school, I did a little bit of cross stitch but didn't really like it, not too keen on tapestry either. I do, like the idea of freestyle cross Stitch. You make everything look so easy. Your slow stitch sampler, is lovely.😊

One thing I like about slow stitch is that it looks like art, like a human hand did it. In art school my professors emphasized the importance of imperfections. Yes, we want to do a great job, and we want to create something amazing. But humans do not create perfectly. There will always be slightly uneven spacing or a little slip somewhere or an unintended smudge. The hardest thing for me has been striving for excellent craftsmanship while accepting imperfection. Since my job is graphic design, where I can control placement down to 0.0001”, that makes it even harder to accept my limitations. But at fifty, I feel like I’m finally getting there. And slow stitching allows me to let go and embrace a more organic process. I can focus on making the stitches and worry less about whether each stitch is perfect, or one thread off from where I meant it to be.

I totally missed this new series and would really love to purchase the kit. Your shop says sold out but more coming. Do you have any idea when? Is there a way to get notified or pre-order? Thanks and thank you also for your generosity in sharing so much of your knowledge. I have been enjoying and learning so much from your videos for years ❤
