In order to run a vps do your main pc have to be connected to the internet. AND if I use my vps to trade using an ea if I switch of my computer will the ea be able to run.
@@thamsanqampontshane7648 Your VPS will always be switched on running you trading software. The computer or device you use to access the VPS doesn't have to be on all the time. You can log into your VPS whenever you want.
Are you developing (backtesting, etc.) of strategies on your remote computer or also on the VPS? Are TradeStation and MultiCharts web-based or do you need to install a program? Thanks for the info!
Good video, Thanks for the information. I've just setup a free tier micro t2 instance and will see how it works with Multicharts and Portfolio trader. I have a AWS Workspace and that is already more powerful but I couldn't figure out how to ftp files into it ( I guess I could have used dropbox) vs creating an EC2 instance.

Hi, I believe if you open a Tradestation account you can get the Futures data free of charge. You can then connect the data feed to Multicharts. To connect Oanda data feed to Multicharts have a look at this article www.multicharts.com/trading-software/index.php/OANDA
When I disconnect the internet the remote desktop says remote desktop re attempting to reconnect with this error the remote desktop is still running the mt4 ?

can you give a step by step guide to register for the aws vpn? also after the one year free billing, how much do they charge from there, since intend only using mt4 on it
Sorry I can't answer that! I have never used MT4 actually. I use Multicharts. I don't know what the memory and processor requirements for Metatrader are.
I abandoned a previous created vps after a year but Amazon kept charging me like $3 every month. Am about to create another one. My question is can I use my previous MasterCard details for the new vps? Thank you
