"Freebird"​ [Neosoul, Hip Hop, Jazz]- Mixtape No.45 by Azul Horizon 

What's good fam? It's been a minute since we last connected, been going through a few changes lately that have occupied my mental. This is actually my first vid-mix release of 2021, had this on the back burner marinating for a couple of months, and finally got around to finishing the project this week. My new year started off real rocky with my relationship taking a sharp turn, as it looks like I'm headed for a permanent split from the love of my life. The first few months of this planned breakup started out real bitter. I was dazed and startled, and really struggled to find my bearings, but along the way I slowly regained a sense of purpose and direction. Although I have a long way to go after many years of having someone by my side, the road ahead now seems less daunting. The unexpected irony is, me and wifey are probably better friends now than we've been since our very early years. I believe it's because we've accepted the sobering reality of our pending departure, and now at the very end we're finally seeing, feeling, and appreciating each other more completely. This mix ''Freebird" is dedicated to the both of us, as we each genuinely wish the love and happiness for each other that we both so absolutely deserve. I will always love my babygirl, and she will always be my Magic Woo! Y'all remember that Jeffery Osbourne song, Can you woo, woo, woo? My son and I also caught the Rona after staying safe for over a year. Fortunately the conditions we suffered were only mild, as we both recently finished quarantine and tested negative. My prayers and deepest sympathies go out to all of those ill affected by this treacherous virus, and my RIGHT FIST goes up to all of those out there in these streets and courtrooms fighting for Freedom, Liberty and Justice for all! Heads up, eyes open, fists clinched! The good news in all of this is that the pandemic has allowed me to catch up with childhood friends I haven't seen in years, including a few very close friends that love music as much as I do. In fact, me and one of my tight boys started a new group called KAVibez, and recently created over two dozen (and counting) original brand new music compilations/songs. The style or genre is similar to what I mix on this channel, only better! Most of the cuts are instrumentals at this point, although a few are begging for a sweet vocal accompaniment! I also have a couple of business ventures i'm launching this Summer, so I won't have much time with all the activity on my plate to drop as many mixes as i used to in the past.
