Thanks for an awesome tutorial. I bought the headset and I'm very happy with it. The sound quality is actually amazing. Easy to use, excellent noise cancelling and good battery life. I ride an eScooter and enjoy talking all the way home. Also, for inbound calls, it will auto answer unless you tap and hold the phone button which refuses the call. Hi, great review, but, once you’ve finished playing music will the com unit come back on (rider to rider) or do you need to quickly press the power button to resume com talking? Many thanks 👍👏
The battery life is good for a couple of hours if you're playing music through it but unfortunately the charging socket is also the socket you plug the mike and speakers into so no using a battery pack to power the unit while using it. I've emailed their service dept several times to see if the make a splitter lead but never got a reply to any of them.
hi, i want to ask you something, can i connect the intercom headset to my phone while simultaneously connected to other helmet? let's say my passenger? and can it autoconnect to other pair when it turned on?
I got 2 of these and are great. So glad I didn’t go for the cardio. Want a third for the kid while motor crossing wondering what the best thing to connect it to to talk
Be extra extra careful with that headset/charging connector. It is ver sensitive. Mine broke after one month of use and my headset cable comes off the connector while riding. If anyone looking to but these get one with 3.5mm jack, not with usb connector.
Do you know how to stop it from making the beep noise when it's low on battery besides charging it. Mine's like halfway and it's already making this annoying beeping noise. Thanks
Damn that's much better packaging than what I got for my much more expensive Freedcon TMax model. Also the mic seems to have a rigid material for the wire. Mines just a flimsy wire. While listening to music can you initiate an intercom conversation with a press of a button and end it and get back to listening to music? The TMax can't do previous track which will be a pain in the ass. I sometimes listen to the same song over and over again and not being able to do it will be irritating. I wonder if they have different packaging for different markets.
Have one of those but cannot fit it permanently to helmet, too uncomfortable so instead l am using velcro to position speakers. never used it to listen to the radio, speak to pillion only ;)
I have the same one, paired with a friend for intercom and it works but the problem is I cannot switch on the intercom only he can, but I can swift off the intercom. Pressing the intercom button doesnt connect to the intercom I only hear the beep but no connetion.. can anyone help?
Can both you and your passenger be blue toothed to your individual phones? when you receive a call, does the passenger also hear your conversation or does the pairing stop till the call is over?
Can you bounce between your phone using the GPS and then go to talking to someone connected to the other intercom or can I only connect one device? At a time
If I have a pair of headphones and two helmets and attached only a single headphone in each helmet, will it still work on both helmets? (If I purchased a single TCOM)
jt basic Depending on if the face shield is up or down it’s going to vary. You can hear music clearly either way but with the face shield down is going to be much more clear without the added wind noise. Also these provide a surprisingly good bass note. Thanks for watching!
If you want to keep the system wireless then yes you'll need 2 units but I do remember seeing a splitter lead ( Y lead) somewhere on the net for these so you can join the two mics and speakers together and then plug the single lead from the splitter lead into the body of the unit.
Sorry but my was not waterproof , I got caught in a heavy rain shower and it got waterlogged.I will say the unit is excellent value for money and does work well otherwise.
Christian Hein We tested it out and unfortunately, no, you can’t. It has no voice activated mic so unless you were sitting still at a light and yelled at your phone it would not pick up any voice activation
