Very Niice. You make it look so easy, but it's a long wait between drinks with this two week video schedule. And it's be a long time since Arved, maybe he is making a series and will release it at Christmas for binge watching. I can't imagine he is spending weekends on the couch... umm. The wildlife in that bay was incredible, especially that man eating sized octopus. What do you do with 5 crayfish - become an instant friend of many maybe.
Thanks Paul 😁. Yeah Arved 😉 🤣. I'm sure he's up to no good, a Christmas series would be great 😂. Yeah a couple to friends, a couple for the freezer and a couple for the belly! oh that's 6, huh
My gosh well done I'm up the cormandel matarangi well done on soild camp and cook amazing on waking up in the morning seeing seals and cooking freshly paua you the man😂
Watched this video a few times and I'm pretty sure I know what bay you were in. If I'm right, man this must've taken you a while to get there. Like mabey 1 or 2 hours from the boat ramp. Where are those cool tunnels you drive the boat thru? Are they somewhere down south near the amphitheater or Damon's bay or something?
Nice one! Yeah it's a cool spot, it takes a little over an hour when it's calm. Actually I'm not too sure exactly where that tunnel cave is, I tend to just cruise around and go through it when I see it 😂. Pretty sure it's a little east of Damon's though, somewhere round Redcliffe point 👌
Hey mate, awesome video! Wondering if you'd be able to help me. I currently have a inflatable but want something a bit lighter. What is your inflatable type? Awesome how u are able to one man lift it
Thanks mate! She weighs about 75kgs from memory, it's got 5 floor pieces (4 aluminium and 1 plywood) joined at the sides with removable aluminium rails, and an inflatable keel under the floor 👍.
We bought it off Ocean Inflatables NZ back in 2015, I think they're not active anymore though. It's a 3.6m, and says "OceanNZ" on the side, and was $1400 back then! Absolutely worth it, so convenient too fits in the boot easy as 😁. Also we got a Tohatsu 9.8hp new for around 2.5k I think. Upgraded this year to a Tohatsu 18hp, $2k secondhand, would recommend more than the 9.8, much better suited to the boat size for more people/gear and the same efficiency 👌
@@NZWildAdventures thanks so much for the reply! that's more than enough to get out there the real question is when are you doing a north island mission?
Good thanks mate I've been looking at A Rockboat inflatable seem really good little boats if that's the one you have always used it's been a cracker little ship .
@@muza1404 I have a Rockboat. 3.3m and perfect for solo trips. One less floor panel than the 3.6m so makes it lighter and way easier to move on your own. Inflatables are under rated, such good wee boats
I'm pretty badly short-sighted and can't see bugger all out of the water without my specs, but something about the mask and water seems to sort everything out, so it's pretty easy to see the things you're after. No need to have 20/20 vision to see a nice big crayfish in any case 😂
Invest in some above average camera gear practice your camera handling and practice some hard monologues and the youtube world will be your oyster!! Excuse the pun 😜5 stars
