I gave my life to the LORD 22 yrs ago and vowed to walk in purity. 9 years ago, I was raped by a friend that I ran a prayer ministry with, all while he preached scripture over me. I was angry and went on a rampage - if God wasnt gonna care, why should I? Such deception! Anyhow, i have been on a massive healing journey and your word helped heal my heart and body today! I went back to my faith and was celibate for 5 years working on fixing myself and for the past years I’ve been praying for a godly husband… i unexpectedly met a great guy but he doesn’t walk in faith and i am ashamed i let myself get into sexual immorality sin again… i repented and going to have an honest talk about how no man can come between me and my God and if sex is a priority for him then i know this relationship will never get a chance and i don’t need that temptation to follow me around. I pray for everyone who’s going through this difficult sin searching for the right partner to stay strong… please don’t be like me and misstep and be riddled with guilt… that misstep was not worth it… my relationship with God is and will always be first place for me 🙏

It does not matter what people say. It only matters what God says. I’m 48 with 2 grown kids and applying this so very late in my life. I’m abstaining not to view sex as a prize for a man on our wedding night, but to honor God with my purity, I want to put him first and do it he said. Better late than never at all.
