As John Prine sang "some humans ain't human". For me the song now has a much deeper spiritual meaning to it. I think he wrote it about a man who pretends he is a guru and a prophet and sells books that are just a bunch of woo woo to the vulnerable. It is hard to find a word that rhymes with Deepak, so he left it for us to figure it out. Much love.
Deepak’s ideas are far more compelling and intuitively feel right than those of supposed men of science like Michael Shermer or Sam Harris who go well out of their way to deliberately misunderstand what he’s saying
I truly hope Deepak has finally been able to leave his phone down long enough to sit and meditate. The documentary made by his daughter was very telling and exposed him for what he actually is.
Agree. Freedom also knowing your not a human. You could be anything and have been many different things and will be again. But spirit is the home. Have been talking to my guides for over a year now and it has changed me and the wife. The learning process is so much fun now. Look forward to each day now, where I did not before. So cool.

That said, as a student of the Course in Miracles for thirty years (as well as a stubborn Virgo perfectionist, one of my many flaws) i must advise you that you have misquoted the second most important quote in the entire text. That particular quote sums up the whole book, so would you grant me one thing which i ask in all the respect and humility i feel addressing (indeed, correcting !) an individual from whom i have learned so much and whose wise words i listen to daily. The pain is an experience yes ( emotional pain/physical pain) it is not part of our our true spiritual nature.. SO when we don't process emotion and hold it in, doesn't it become part of our physical being to some degree ( manifesting as illness or blockages) , and is that because of our mistaken choice in identifying with the ego identity as our true selves that the emotion gets stuck in our form?
The course in miracles was written by a woman who claimed to have the book dictated directly by Jesus Christ in the 70s, are we taking this seriously ?
