Dude, THANK YOU for this video. This is the same exhaust I ordered for my bobber and I was struggling with the instructions they sent (which were a slightly different mode exhaust of theirs). Plus, finding plenty of different exhaust videos that didn't quite match up. Thank you!
If anyone is considering buying this exhaust, I recommend getting the "quiet" baffle as well. It sure as hell ain't quiet, but a cleaner, smoother sound. Just sayin'. (2020 Scout Bobber 20)
Heya thanks for the vid since its pretty much the only detailed one out there on how to do this haha. Question though, did you have to tune your bobber after this install? I've been looking all around to see since of course it really optimizes performance but I don't know if it's actually mandatory. Cheers!
Thanks for watching bro! No I didn't get a tune for it yet but I am in the process of getting one in a couple weeks..if u want the most power definitely get a tune and a performance air filter..u don't necessarily have to get a tune it's just if u really want to get the most out of your bike..I will be making a video on how to install the performance filter so stay tuned!
When I first bought my bobber, I really liked the look of that 2 into 1 exhaust, but I'm not mechanically inclined, so I punked out and just got slip-ons. But bro, you made that look easy! Next on your upgrade list should be swapping out that crappy halogen lamp for the Indian Pathfinder. Also, adding gators/fork boots were a cheap, simple way of giving my bobber another level of bad-assery!😎 And don't forget the moisturizer!😁
oh i see that’s unfortunate lol. and i had originally wanted the bassani as well. road rage 2 in 1. lol i changed my mind when i heard the grand national on a few other bikes. enjoy and ride safe
Hello. Pardon my Phillistine question... But I'm surprised to discover everything on this American bike, bolt, screw, etc., is gauged in the metric system. I would have believed that in America, everything were still gauged in imperial system (remember the disaster of the Chauchat Machine Gun?). Sorry if it's a stupid question. And great video by the way.
@@treebarkco4869 I read that some Harley are in metric system, especially the bikes like the former VRod, with an engine, the Revolution 60-degree v-twin water-cooled engine (and gearbox), designed in collaboration with Porsche Engineering.
Thanks for the great video. Indian told me if you change the exhaust they need to tune the new exhaust with the engine, did you need to do that? Cheers
Thanks a ton bro. I've been waiting for my FP Combat 2 into 1 Turnout since March (it was backorder) and it's supposed to be here in 3 days. This video is gonna be a big help, assuming there's not much difference between my 2016 Scout and your newer Bobber. If I could trouble you with a couple of quick questions; 1. Did you get the quiet baffle and if so does it make a big difference? I did get it because I was told if I didn't my neighbors would hate me. And 2. Do you happen to know the major difference in the 2 into 1 Turnout and the Shorty? Again, many thanks. Great video!
Thanks for watching I really appreciate it! No I didn't get the baffle but I heard it makes it not as loud. And I believe the difference between the 2 is the "sound" but I always heard that the 2 into 1 combat sounds better than the shorty.
Did you receive any new gaskets? Also, did you notice any old gaskets? After installation of this exhaust and an S&S intake I’ve gotten a faulty o2 sensor code. I can’t tell if I have an exhaust leak. It really doesn’t seem like I have one.
Very cool bike - styling is great- just tone down the volume on the pipe for me. All the solo bike you need for around town and short trips- that’s good riders who only do short trips these days.
That bike is sexy af with that exhaust. I’m leaning towards getting one of these over the sportster. I just don’t like the look of the Harley and this Indian is sexy af
I did the upgrade Indian intake and Indian stage 1 flash with this exhaust. It is ridiculously quick. I ride with a guy thats on a 2011 Aprilla Tuono (about 125hp) and he has trouble pulling away all the way into 4th gear!
