Toxic gossip...i worked in health care...i have seen how nasty things can get and the work dramas! It happens in every industry and usually stems from 1 or 2 unhappy individuals...everyday is a gift be happy right!?! 😎🤟🤪
truly agree, over the last two years I learned that setting boundaries and scopes of work are very important, like If I'am specializing in lighting, rendering, shading, in product animation I'm only doing things that I'm comfortable with in specific project. A place for challenges, experimentation and learning new fields I'm leaving for afterhours at home. When I learned a new skillset and it could be validated by personal project, then I can use this knowledge comfortably in a commercial environment.
Totally! Erin mentioned that asking this in the capacity of making sure you are up for the task is ok. However, asking who the work is for ahead of time and taking the booking based on that is something that is frowned upon.
@@schoolofmotion That's what I don't understand, if you're a highly skilled freelancer, it totally makes sense to have a choice who you'd be working for. Some clients might not be ethically compatible with your way of working, (oil companies for example). Or if the money is low, you might work for a client for portfolio reasons..
