I never thought my money would last longer on average on a $1 denomination slot over $0.25 slot until I started watching Jackpot Judo. I always played the old-style low volatility machines, but the decent hits for me were way fewer and far between on the smaller denominations, in which I understand the RTP overall generally increases as you increase in denomination. Jackpot Judo has helped me hold my own a lot more on the slots since I started watching a lot of his content. Thanks 😁.
This is why Jackpot Judo is great, he gives you the real deal details about how comps really work, along with many other great tips! It's great information, and it's always good to learn a thing or two, not only about slots, but also about casino's!
I love watching you because you “make sense” out of gambling taking the emotions out of it so you can win! Learning about how to get comps was eye opening and the whole video was a GEM!
I don't know why but you make gambling seem so simple and stress/care free lol. This is I know is not true in general, but the word pleasant comes to mind for some reason. These videos are actually very fun to watch though and you always have a little tip that I hadn't thought or heard of.
Ty for this video! Just got back from my cruise and although there weren’t really any LV games I was able to extend my bankroll as much as I could because my main goal was for the most points and extended play time as much as possible for better offers for when I got back home. This cruise line has consistently rewarded me for my play so it has def worth it for me to pay it forward this time for sure. I was able to get almost 10000 points during my cruise, got free play a bottle of champagne and already a better offer in my email before I even got back home. If you are gonna play anyway why not make the most out of it? Just set your limits and stick to them!😊🎉
Thx for the great explanation and content. Just to validate what you are preaching, I asked park mgm to rate my play and see if I qualify for a host….i did, and my new host told me they expect 4-6 hrs of play at a minimum 5 dollar bet per day.
Thank you for another great video. I actually put this method to the test... In previous months, my freeplay reward was about $140. Playing 4-6 hrs for 3 days, average bet $1-3. In May, I played the same amount of time/days but, doubled my average bet amount to $2.50 and $5 on 7's games. Plus, stayed away from Dragon link machines (although I luv them). My free play amount for July increased to $400. Yippee 😊🎉 Vegas watch out. Lol
@Trippyboss My average monthly free play was $140. But, nearly tripled to $400 after I increased my bet amount to $5. The biggest change was adding 7's games to my trip.
Hey hey Eric, Scott in NC. WOW!! Awesome video Eric. Good stuff on your tips and tricks on freeplay and comps. Your making playing slot machines great again! Thanks my brother!!
So amazing that this is the topic for tonight. I was going to ask if you could do this for us. Thank you for all you do to help us play better and enjoy our gambling trips more often!
Eric, do you have a plane? Your in a different casino every other day, different places, states. Just curious, how can you enjoy the perks if your gone the next day?
👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 Thanks for the info. Traveling from Tennessee to Atlantic City next month and I can’t wait to use this strategy to accumulate comps and free play.
That 1st Triple Stars game at $1 denomination is pretty much what happens to me on every time. It just slowly loses until $0. Good thing there are comps and free play earned.
Great video E!.... I'm currently in Vegas, staying at Cesar Palace! Just hit my 1st handpay off of top dollar 💵...just wanted to say thank you for all the content!!!
Thank you for another great learning video. Going to Vegas at the end of Aug. and I’ll be looking for these games and trying this method. I also appreciate how you set a walk away limit. I am so much better at that now after watching your videos. 💜
Thank you for the explanation! I get free comps, rooms, food and cruises because I put the time in! I try to tell people all the time. I brought a friend and her very skeptical husband to Tahoe and after 2 trips they are getting free rooms and free play!
Change it I want to thank you so much for this explanation. I have asked so many people and they could not give me an answer on how cops work I appreciate this very much. Thank you. Good luck.
This video was very informative. I always wondered why they only gave me 2-27 tier creds for a session. 🎯🎰 (I also make sure to go on promo days like 2x 5x tier creds)
Thank you for explaining this it's always been confusing and I've seen different explanations that contradict. Question if you spend 20 minutes on one machine then move to another and spend 20 minutes and another and play 10 minutes does that hurt your theo?
Great question! Needs an in-depth answer. Not if you're playing on the same day. Theo is averaged over your stay, so for an example, if I book a 3 day trip and I'm averaging 6 hours of play on $25 bets on day one and day 2 but on day 3 I only play $1 bets for 30 min day 3 would hurt my average. I would have a higher Theo if I only played the first 2 days, unless, of course, I was just killing time on day 3 with those $1 bets and wasn't using my players card...😊
@@JackpotJudo that makes sense so it’s better to stay consistent on the bet amounts. Example if you start with $1 bets don’t go lower than that amount but higher would be better? Keep that for each full day you are betting.
GREAT INFO, but remember EVERY CASINO is different and their free play policies are too. Indian Casinos worked mainly off the money you spend to earn points towards your tier/credit. Sitting at a game forever doesn't work. You have to bet big to get bigger comps, definitely the case in Oklahoma. You should talk about the difference in the CLASS OF THE CASINO when talking about free play and comps. CLASS I CLASS II CLASS III they're all different JJ. Have a great spin my friend 🙏🏽
Great advice and I totally agree I usually go to Vegas every year and play 5-6 hours a day low rolling and I get comps .. I need to try some higher bets though 😂🎉🍀
This might sound like a dumb question, but you don't technically have to sit at the "same" machine for a long time, right? I mean, as long as you are using your card, it doesn't matter if you machine hop and play similar denoms to earn freeplay, correct? It's just based on activity in general. Like I said, dumb question, but I needed to ask. Lol
There are no dumb questions, we all had to learn at one point, myself included! You are correct, no need to sit at one machine, players card tracks activity, length of play, average bet amounts, etc. If you find a great machine that you can play for hours, you just might want to stay on it if you're trying to increase tier levels, etc!
@JackpotJudo Thanks Eric! Question: Do they consider the free play that you have as well or only money that is put in by you. The reason I ask is because sometimes you can play for a while on the free play…thanks
Thanks for posting this video. I’m going to Vegas in August staying at an MGM property. I see the 3 reel 5 line games you’re playing at Harrah’s & Horseshoe which are good bankroll building games. Is there an MGM property you recommend with these games in $1 & $5 denom? Thanks!
I went up 1 tier from RED to PLATINUM within just my first two days at the Wynn last fall on me and my cousins girls trip.. Heading out next month to the Wynn again for girls trip 2024!
Great video as always, o warlock of the slots. I always assumed that free play was based on the actual money you put in. That seems to be how it is at my local, which is a tribal casino. What happens if you play slowly? Like if you're betting five bucks a spin, but waiting 15 seconds between pushing the button each time? My apologies if somebody already asked this.
Hi mate it's to be my 3rd trip to Vegas here in November and got 4 nights comp 250 freeplay and 400 resort fee which is great I'm just wondering how does the resort fee work do I pay for food drinks first then claim it back? If so how? Or do I use my players card and that pays for it? Great video thank you 👌
Can you a video on the difference in volatility between 5 line and 9 line machines like this. My casino has very few if any 5 line games most are 9 line which makes maxbet 9.00
Every casino is different. Per the posted free play policy of a casino in Indiana, you get 1 point for every $2 on a slot. 100 points = $1 of free play.
When you say "time on the machine" you mean number of spins, right? If not, theoretically, you could just play slower and sit there longer. Can you clarify?
Gonna be in Vegas at the end of July and wanted to say thanks for sharing this! Trying to get my Tier Score up before the end of the year and will most certainly use this method while there! Gonna be completing the caesars quest challenge where you have spend 25 tier credits at each casino to earn a badge.
Can you do a video on how the taxes work. Say you took out a $1,000 at the casino atm and played for hours and then hit a jackpot for $3,000 do you have them take out taxes for you or can you minus your initial investment of $1,000 from the $3,000 and tax that amount ($1,000-$3,000=$2,000) is that how you figure taxes or is there a right way of doing it. Thank you. Hopefully my question wasn’t too confusing.
@@JackpotJudo Thats good cause ive blown through $100 on one machine pretty damm quick on multiple machines, till i watched your bankroll building video. thx brathaaaa.
This is a helpful video for sure, it definitely laid it on the line as far as how Casinos determine free play- so BIG thanks! I'd love to see a few more of these- a series of your faves for better freeplay/comps.
Love this!!! Very educational video!!! Definitely will try this out in the future!!! Very excited meeting you all for the birthday bash!!! Family Strong!!!
I've never been to Vegas but all the casinos that I play isn't based on time but total amount of wagers. Making 5 $100 bets nets the same as 100 $5 bets. Usually the smaller denom plays longer and thus is able to make more bets because there are more wins along the way.
@robertasmith7780 Great answer, because I find the caniso run by the Indians. They are totally different from other caniso, which are in Lost Vegas. It would be nice if it could be explained both ways.
JJ, thank you so much for this video. I really learned from it. I always thought that your comps were based on the amount of money you put into the machines during your visit. I always wondered why my comps weren’t that great. Now I know it’s because I generally never sat at a machine for very long because I lost all the time. Once in a great while I would find a machine that seemed to like me and let me play on it for a while, but that was a rare case. So, like you said, I have been picking the wrong machines. Now I know what machines to look for. Thank you again, JJ. Oh, by the way, I keep forgetting to ask you something. It seems like Lucinda is not only your travel companion, but your camera person as well. (And what a great job she is doing by the way) so is Aaron no longer with you?
I was at the casino last night and found this exact game. Using only JJ's tips and tricks I walked away (learning the dicipline thing) up $150! I used to play the gimmicky "cartoon" games- they are fun, but ultimately I'd like to get my first jackpot, then second, and third. I'll be in Vegas next month, and will be using this method exclusively. Thanks for your help pal.
I was under the impression your 'THEO' score included not only 'time played & bet amount' but also 'coin in'? That was what I was told several years ago.
Great information. Thanks. I usually stay at a machine for a long time.....hubby on the other hand jumps around lokeca kook. 😂😂😂😂😂 Married 50 years this Saturday so i guess i can call him a kook. 😂😂😂😂 Thanks again!!!❤❤❤
The casino I go to when I get my FreePlay it’s weekly so you have to go once a week to pick up your FreePlay Monday through Friday. It doesn’t calculate once a month or once every two months or whenever you want to pick it up you have to go once a week And it has an expiration date of that month only
