@@tedfox2683 I was there with my parents in 74 and 75 on gambling junket trips. I remember this man from Germany pointing out the top floor of a hotel on the beach that had armed guards on the top balcony. Who was up there? just some reclusive guy named Howard Hughes!
In one of my recent videos my son and I "swam" with the pigs in Freeport. A girl from Sweden in a group after us was bit by one of them. They rode in the same shuttle as us and told us the story. Those little adorable bundles of delicious bacon will try to eat anything. Swimmers beware.
Lol right near the beach those bushy palm trees, we have millions of those in South Carolina. But our ocean is a different kind of beautiful. Not as clear and peaceful looking, but very majestic
If you go to Grand Bahamas and do not rent a car then make sure the taxi you take is METERED, otherwise they will charge you 20$ for each way! Ask for the Southern tip of the west part of the island. They'll know where you are talking about, also take a bucket for all the shells you will collect walking on the beach. I forgot and had to leave them behind.
I visited Freeport and found the LOCALS rude and ignorant. Happy to see the place in ruin. Since then I vacation in Mexico and Cuba where I am treated well and feel welcome.
