World Champion Nadine Wallner and Chris Zarfl give you a few tips for your first jumps off-piste.
With the cliff drop, note that you need to choose a height you can trust.
You start small, and gradually build on it.
Before jumping you should visit the take off and landing area and check that there's enough powder in both. For a compact position in the air, make your takeoff active and bring the hands forward and down.
For the landing, find a steep area of terrain - to be gentler on your joints.
